Alex was hired to replace a faulty GFCI outlet in the front of our house. We were charged 130.00 for this and it never worked although he said it did when he left. I contacted him several times and he apologized for the delay via text and promised to be back out to check it shortly. He never came back to check it and he never answered any of my calls after that. I supplied a brand new outlet still in the box and he now uses that as an excuse as to why he never came back. So why tell me that you were sorry for the delay and promise to come back out and check it? Busy is one thing, if you had an issue with coming back, try being honest about it. I could respect the fact that I gave you the outlet and you could not warranty it but you could have come back to make sure it was actually the outlet instead of making a bunch of empty promises both verbally and via text. That is the part that is not professional!
I had Alex repair my Soffit and he did a really good job. I plan to use him for my future projects. He is very personable and puts in the effort to understand your desires to understand your goals for the project so he can work independently. He struck a good balance with me for me on communication ensure to keep me in the loop but not over communicating everything.
Alex and his workers are very professional and friendly. He did my room floors and it looks AMAZING. They’re respectful and make sure the customer is happy with the results. He keeps you updated on everything and is honest about it all.
Spoke to Alex in person, and text him my information. I asked he could stop by my property for a quote when he finished a job on my street. He said yes, he would come give the quote when he finished that job. An hour later when he finished... he loaded up and drove past me and my property like I didn't exist. I AM BLACK AND I personally think he must be a racist. I was prrpared to pay him cash plus a $40 tip in advanced for him to get himself lunch before he completed my job or scheduled it when it would be best for him.
Alex and the Team at GMZ Construction have been a life savior to my wife and I. We decided to remodel instead of moving but we were having trouble finding a trustworthy contractor. Alex not only took the job but he identified possible structural issues that needed to be addressed as well as a water issue that needed attention. Alex worked with us on pricing and kept us informed during the entire process. Alex takes pride in his work and wants nothing more than to fulfill his Customer’s request. We already have plans to use GMZ Construction on our next project and we recommend their service if you have a project in mind.
