Wow! Wow! We could not be more pleased with our experience. One level of our front brick stairs cracked with the first freeze this winter...right before Christmas. It created a terrible hazard (imagine Amazon deliveries!). Rene came out quickly, gave us an expert opinion and did a phenomenal job. He was intentional about only performing work if the weather was warm enough to guarantee the results. He monitored the weather and was there as soon as it was warm enough. He did a great job of matching bricks and mortar to create a seamless transition - exactly what we wanted for the front of our home.This wasn't as large of a job as some others providing Google reviews...but it was timely, cost effective, and high quality. He'll be our first call for future work!

We needed attention to a long front walkway, retaining walls, patio and steps that were installed more than 20 years ago. Many of the original stones remained suitable for continued use but the mortar was no longer viable and/or in need of repair. The Diaz team's experience with this type of project was immediately evident. The guidance and recommendations were exact. The work was meticulous and comprehensive. The results are outstanding. We are evaluating an expansion stone project for which Diaz Masonry will be the only considered service provider.

It was fascinating to see how they work: laying out the stones to guarantee a nice color variation, and making precise cuts to achieve a flawless curved walkway to the basement stairwell. I had an excellent experience with Diaz Masonry Services. My home's front steps were loose with crumbling mortar, and there were patches of loose / missing mortar in my home's stone exterior. Rene and his crew did a fantastic job – they matched the color of the existing mortar very well, and they addressed all the problem areas. Rene was super thorough, and I particularly appreciated his detailed final walk-around. I'll definitely call Rene again when I need to have more masonry work done.
