I normally don’t write reviews because I’m particular, and in my line of work, details matter. A lot of contractors have let me down in various ways, but I don’t believe in bad-mouthing people online. That said, I can unequivocally say that Stone Works, led by Tony Havens and his team, provided top-notch customer service — the kind you rarely see these days.

Tony listens to his customers and is never confrontational, which allows for productive discussions that lead to the best possible results and, ultimately, happy customers. He is also very real-time and responsive with communication, which makes the entire process smooth and stress-free. In addition, he is punctual and gets the work done quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. The quality of the work is the best I’ve seen, and the pricing is extremely competitive. I’m in Ocean City, NJ, where there are “Ocean City prices” and then there are regular prices. Let me clarify that Stone Works is competitive with regular prices, if you know what I mean.

Tony is also a true problem solver. If he sees something done incorrectly by others, he jumps right in to help fix it — even when it’s not his responsibility. I’ve called on him for issues outside of masonry because he has a solid Rolodex of contractors who think and operate the same way he does.

This is the second time I’ve used Stone Works, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for all future projects. For reference, they completed concrete and stone work for me, including my driveway, city sidewalk, patios, and walkways. They also installed stone on the base of my house and pool, along with sill work around the house where we transitioned to siding.

If you want to save yourself time and avoid headaches, just use Stone Works for all your masonry needs.

Stone Works Masonry did an outstanding job, they were an essential part of making our dream house come to life. Tony & team laid our stone driveway, added beautiful stonework to the front and sides of the house, and built a custom outdoor kitchen area on our back patio. I have used Stone Works for 2 large projects, patio and driveway, and 2 smaller projects, steps and sidewalk. Each time I was impressed on the improvements these projects made on my property. Tony will give you an actuate estimate and has always gotten the projects done quickly. Tony and his team do great work and clean up after the project is finished.
