Ok, here we go. Augusta ready mix provided a good quality tank and showed up as punctual as they said they would. Unfortunately, they sent an untrained driver to my house with no idea how to unload or even hook up the tank to get it off the truck. 2 hours later they had a nice gentleman with countless years of experience show up and have the job done in 10 minutes. I burned a lot of my day waiting around but overall I was happy by the end of the day. Great price in a great tank. I am buying another one to make a tornado shelter out of and will be using them again.
We had an incident where an Augusta Ready Mix driver accidentally damaged our property late on a Friday afternoon. We immediately called ARM and explained what happened. The person I spoke with took my information and said someone would come out and take a look the following Monday morning. He also confirmed their trucks were in our area and did not doubt my claim.I am happy to report, they came out as stated, apologized for the damage and hired an excellent company to make the repairs. Although the damage was done accidentally, ARM took full responsibility and handled the repair with as little inconvenience to us as possible. I appreciate the way this was handled and want to share my experience.
A friend o aid for a service that was poorly done and after contacting customer service to see if it could be fixed, he was spoken to rather rudely and was told that there was nothing they could do (even though it was their mistake). I cannot regard a company that has no pride nor commitment to their company and work. Do NOT use this company for any needs you may have, you will not be pleased.
At first everything was going good placed order for 4 cubic yard of concrete and payed 60 dollars a cubic yard extra for dark Buff..Day comes to lay concrete and started to lay walk way and could not see that much color asked driver at least five time if they put the buff in it..Concrete was very dry and thick and hard to work had to ask at least three time to make it workable....I waited two day to contact the company about the poor coloring in the concrete seeing if the color would get better.They sent a guy out to look at the coloring and he walked the walk way and kept saying I see a little buff but I kept telling him I did not pay for a little buff I payed for Dark Buff..lol Plus I have section that look like regular concrete. He said they would get back with me its been two weeks and have not heard from anyone..I have lots of pictures and still have the two wheel barrel full of two different color concrete mixes..Its sad that this is the only way some companies will pay attention to the hard working people...I hope no one has to go through want I am going through.
Company was hired by a contractor I had to fill in my patio. We told the driver not to go all the way in the backyard because he would get stuck. I guess he was inexperienced or simply just didn't care, because he drove anyway. Never even got out to check the ground. Well the driver drove in the backyard and got stuck. He got lucky because about 5ft away was a ditch. The driver cracked my driveway, tore up my grass in the front/side/and back yard, and bumped my satellite dish. It took 2 tow trucks, 2 mangers, and 3 additional hours before the truck was removed. The driver nor the managers ever came to us to say my bad, I'm sorry, or even oops. I give them 2 stars because my contractor should have been watching them like a hawk. Luckily my contractor fixed their errors. I believe he signed something so they wont be responsible for the damages they cause.
