CANTEY replaced my vapor barrier in my crawl space. I want to thank Andrew and his team for doing an excellent job. They were very friendly, professional and very helpful with answering my questions. I highly recommend anyone to use CANTEY and their services.

I waited too long to write this review, but sometimes life gets in the way. I hired Cantey last summer to lift some sinking concrete on my back porch. My experience was not good whatsoever. The crew they sent out, which consisted of two early 20-year-olds that seemed to have no idea what they were doing, had an "issue" with the injection gun on the first day and sprayed the poly foam all over my concrete, doors, and posts. This left stains that are not removable on my paint and concrete. This has ruined any aesthetics of my concrete. In addition they were unable to lift my concrete that I was verbally reassured would be able to be lifted, although they could not "guarantee" it in writing. When I informed the office and management of what had occurred no one was ever willing to actually come and look at the damage. After many calls I was finally able to get a 50% discount on my service. The only reason I did not pursue litigation is because of their contract that requires arbitration at a court in South Carolina. I got no apologies and no effort by management for remediation of the damage they caused. They just kept telling me to get quotes for cleaning of the concrete. You cannot clean polyurethane foam staining. And it has continued to darken and look worse to this day. I am attaching a few pictures so that you can see the staining. These only show a small part of the staining. I also fortunately took before pictures the morning before they did the work if they wish to dispute this. Be careful when hiring this company as you have little recourse when things do not go well.

UPDATE: After a few emails back and forth after posting, this is the response I received June 18th.
"Good evening, your concerns are certainly important. Our General Manager will be reaching out to you by end of day tomorrow. His name is Matt Williams. Please reach out if you need anything else in the meantime."
Two months later and haven't heard from them. Like I said, be careful hiring this company.
Update 12/19/2025: Had the slab replaced due to it continuing to sink. The concrete contractor sent me these photos so I could see what was under the slabs. Very little polyurethane foam is seen and a large void is visible explaining why the slab continued to collapse.

Avoid this company. Once they collect the down payment, the communication stops and the promises disappear. They offer a “same-day” 10% discount to push you into booking on the spot, but then do not honor it. We were overcharged by about $1,000, nearly 20% of the total, and after that point they ignored every call and email for more than a month. So much for being part of the so-called “Cantey Family.”

The driveway “repair” began failing in under 30 days, with obvious sinking already appearing. Several areas were patched with a brown-tinted material that looks completely mismatched and, honestly, resembles something unsanitary smeared across the concrete.

For what we paid, the workmanship is unacceptable, the communication is nonexistent, and the end result is worse than before they touched it. One star is generous. Zero stars would be more accurate.

Maybe a bad review will get them to do something about the numerous complaints and refunding the overcharges. Truly, unless this is fixed properly, the whole project should be refunded.

We had to get several trees removed to prepare and our concrete driveway was repaired in May 2022. New cracks formed over the next year and it took multiple calls and emails to get someone to come out in 2023. It should not have been that hard. They added more PolyFill, but never filled any of the cracks. Now it's 2025 and the driveway is a disaster as shown in the photos. I'm hoping that Cantey will see this review and make it right.

Cantey Foundation Specialists did an excellent job on encapsulating our crawlspace and permanently stabilizing an area of our house which was experiencing minor settlement (cracking in walls) due to misaligned sub flooring. The entire project took less than 2 days and the contractors made sure to keep us informed every step of the way. They provided us with constant updates as to the integrity of the materials that were used, quality of the final products and warranty guarantees. We highly recommend Cantey for your next project and will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.
