I had been trying to have multiple repairs done at my residence - some high elevation 'remove and replace' window surrounds, some stucco and underpinning, and extensive 'freeze and thaw' damage on elevated concrete porches. I contacted many "full service" companies and received quotes from too low to ridiculously high. No one wanted to do the whole job. I contacted Jim Connelly because he is close by, and by the descriptions I gave him, he thought he could handle it all. He was out that week to measure and look it over and I had a quote almost immediately. Jim is a wonderful 'Old School' master tradesman - a Golden Rule man. He stands by his work and his word. His team is solid, responsible, and respectful of the client and the property. They even politely tolerated our crazy pup stealing their tape or string or anything that looked like a toy. I am very impressed with the caliber of the work, and his flexibility when we had new window delivery issues. Good tradesmen, and particularly masons, seem to hard to find. I lucked out, and will use Jim for anything masonry related.
Jim responded to my inquiry, came out to look at the job and gave me a bid within a few days. Today he completed the work - this says a lot since I contacted several other masons who were not responsive at all! Thanks, Jim!
