Steve and Merrit were a fantastic team to work with. They are both compassionate, thorough, transparent and have attention to detail. They made sure I was satisfied with the work done with every step of the project. I would highly recommend Sierra James for your next home repair or your disaster restoration. Although I am very happy and relieved to have my home back, I will miss working with Steve, Merrit and Hannah too. Highly professional company all around.

When I decided to add a workshop/man cave to my property it was a major decision. I wanted top quality at a fair price. I got that with Sierra James. The communication was excellent, every minor glitch was resolved quickly without any hassles. They guided me through many of the difficult decisions and steered me to professionals who helped me with architecture and interior design. After I had chosen to work with them, I found out they were recently voted Central Oregon’s best home builder. Now I know why!

Sierra James led our hardwood floor replacement project. They did a great job from beginning to end. From quoting/ planning to project execution to insurance claim assistance, they were easy to work with, responsive, and provided great communication throughout the process. I highly recommend them.

1/15/2026 On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, a plumbing connection to our washing machine broke, causing most of our home to flood with approximately two to three inches of water. As disabled seniors, my wife and I were quickly overwhelmed by the circumstances. Central Oregon Sierra James, a Restoration Company, was contacted for assistance, and the compassion shown by your employees during an extremely stressful time was extraordinary. We are struggling with multiple health challenges in addition to the flooding, and your team’s kindness meant more to us than we can express. The Sierra James Company promptly dispatched three employees: Carlo, Reeve, and Alan to begin the cleanup. We would like to commend them for their rapid response, professionalism, good work and genuine compassion. They represented your company exceptionally well while working efficiently to dry the floors, a critical step in preventing further water damage. The following morning, Project Manager Kealib Kuykendall arrived to thoroughly assess the state of destruction and begin the restoration process. Kealib demonstrated extensive industry knowledge and professionalism, along with the same friendly and empathetic service shown by the entire team. Although from Kealib’s investigation, the hidden damage revealed to be extensive, we feel we are in good hands with Sierra James, a Restoration Company. The care and respect shown to us compelled me to share our experience with your management and with everyone we know. Not a lot of folks have had as much service from Sierra James as I’ve had. I lost my home in a fire nearly 2 years ago. I struggled to find a restoration company that I felt would deliver on all aspects of the rebuilding process. When selecting a company, your insurance will likely have a list of preferred vendors to perform the work, these are usually more advantageous to them in some way. Sierra James was not on that list, but one of the insurance agents went out of their way to recommend them due to their reputation for obtaining outstanding results. I could not be happier with my decision. Every phase of the project was carried out with tremendous transparency, focus, and craftsmanship. All sub contractors were top notch. Never did I feel out of the loop or uninvolved. And when I needed help, they went out of their way to fill the gaps of my understanding. When you hire them, you aren’t just hiring a construction company, your project manager will act as a subject matter expert on how to navigate the complexities of the insurance claim. They took on so much more on that side of the process than I ever would’ve anticipated, and it allowed me to focus on the personal property side of the claim. I also worked with their remodel and new construction division to complete an ADU on the lot, and every word of praise mentioned above held true with that division of Sierra James. My project manager was attentive to every detail to the highest degree. To Frank, Melissa, Stephen, Michael, Charlie and all others involved, I cannot thank each of you enough for making a tough circumstance into a positive outcome.

We just completed a primary bathroom remodel with Sierra James, and are very happy with the results. Brad was our PM throughout and he kept us up to date with frequent and open communication. He also promptly dealt with any questions or concerns. Lewis was also a life saver when it came to attention to detail, quality of work, and dealing with the punch list especially at the end. Our project also came in under budget, which feels virtually unheard of these days! I appreciated the financial transparency and was able to track our progress on both the shared schedule and budget sheets. Will absolutely work with Sierra James and Brad and the team again.
