Rob and his team is amazing! I requested a quote on the Masonry Plus website and they got back to me the same day and setup an appointment. Rob is very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to do the job a couple days later. They were able to fix my problem with water leaking in my front steps into my basement wall and for a very reasonable price. After the job was done Rob made sure to take a video explaining what they did, it was very transparent. Two months later and everything still looks good as new. I would definitely use them again.
Contracted Masonry Plus to do our front porch. Rob came and advised us that he would remove the old paint, smooth the existing concrete and apply a bonding agent called "plankton x or s. He said, "It actually a very fine chemically and fibre reinforced, its incredibly strong and incredibly durable and very long lasting".Rob assured us and said that he has been using for ten plus years and its the only thing he will ever top a porch with because he know it lasts". His work has left us with an unsightly, blotchy, cracked, uneven front steps and landing. A chunk of the surface has fallen off after only a couple of months. Worst of all, he does not reply phone calls or emails. His 5 year guarantee is worthless. His job is poor.
Masonry plus came out and gave me a great price to completely tear down and rebuild my two story chimney. Their price was a third less than the other quotes with a longer warranty. The job was done over two days and was done beautifully. No mess left behind and it was even cleaned up better than when they arrived. I highly recommend them for all your brick and chimney repairs. Rob responded to my request for a quote to repair the firebox of my wood burning fireplace immediately. He was able to identify the cause of the problem, provide a written estimate that day and schedule the work within a few days. Rob and Jesse arrived on time, completed the job as promised and cleaned up when finished. Although the job was more extensive than anticipated, the quote given was honoured. Rob communicated what was being done throughout the process and offered a five year warrantee on the work completed. I am very satisfied with my consumer experience and would not hesitate to contact Masonry Plus for any future repairs.
