There was not one bit of communication between this company and the people along the route back and forth to the job site. It's a dusty gravel road and all summer long we have dealt with dust. They had the water trucks out on occasion, but it softened the shoulders and ruined the road. Not one time did anyone talk to us about the inconvenience, poor air quality, noisy trucks, Jake brakes, and the 200-300 trucks a day for months. Then they just leave the ruined road for the county to fix, causing even more dust without anyone taking care of it. This company gets 0 stars from me.
Love this place even though it was temporarily. The pay is amazing, way better than Alabama pay. It doesn't matter what county in Alabama. The state of Alabama can not touch the pay this company offers.
Inconvenient, don’t know how to set up detours or mark signs. Turned a 10 min drive into an hour because they had no road closed signs or detour signs
Ames Construction's has an impressive safety record and a solid history of completing projects on time and under budget.
Horrible customer service. Running their trucks on highways breaking windshields then saying not going to pay because it's my word against theirs. They should be ashamed of the debris they leave on the roads and that comes off their trucks.
