We recently had a stamped concrete patio completed by A1 Cement, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. A-1 concrete did our driveway and it is horrendous! Not sure if they water down their concrete or what but the entire streets driveways are poorly done! Our house is just 3 years old and the driveway looks 50! My parents lived in their house for over 20 years and never had to replace or repair their driveway.
We had the privilege of performing a large scaffold erection for this team down at the Stampede grounds to assist in some sandblasting and pai ting of a 70ft high steel structure.From a subcontractors point of view, they were fantastic to work both with and for.Trevor L is an outstanding PM, be sure to reach out for any of your construction needs.
Very disappointed with A1 Concrete. Our driveway has many small holes and rough spots, but they dismissed it as “within tolerance.” We requested an in-person inspection under the one-year warranty, but they never showed up — only looked at a video sent by the builder. Poor workmanship and even worse customer service.I’ve attached a screenshot of the email our builder forwarded to us showing A1 Concrete’s response. Would not recommend.
We had A1 cement finish our driveway as part of our builders contract. The finishing job looks like it was done by an amateur, it cracked in multiple sections (through the entire depth) within 2 weeks of it being poured. Within a year, we have holes. Everything we’re told is within standards and doesn’t need fixing but we’ll likely have to replace it within 3-4 years. Other cement contractors have commented on the poorly done job. Do not recommend this company.
