The guy inside told us to go out and he would send someone to help. The first guy that came out was nice and willing to help us get the stones we needed, shortly after another guy came out and told us we could not pick the stones we just got what was one top. I explained that I need large stones since I was making a walkway and he said nope you only get what is on top. We tried to talk to a manager, but there was none in and the guy working the inside said you can only get what we give you. I wasn’t asking for a hand out, I was paying for a product, but it is crazy that they were telling me that this is what I get and that’s it, it’s my money I should be able to buy the product I want. If they want to conduct business like this, then at least separate it in to small, medium and large so people can get what they need. I ended up going to Design Outdoor and getting exactly what I need. They were so nice and helpful. I have many yard projects that I am doing and was excited to get product from Carson Masonry, but will never give them a cent.
My husband bought some flagstone pieces 5 days ago. At the time the staff was very helpful.We needed a few more to complete our project but yesterday when he was over there looking at the pieces apparently a new foreman approached him and told him to get out. My husband tried to explain he needed a few more pieces but the rude foreman told him he couldn't pick the pieces and he'd have to take what they gave him off the top. We really liked this place but we won't be back. We found another stone business that worked with us and be got what we needed and we got to pick the stone we wanted.
I'm a Landscape Contractor in California and Nevada and have always experienced only professionalism from Carson Masonry.Brian in the yard, Chris Jr, Chris Sr and Sean at the front desk have always gone out of their way with top notch service! They must be great if I drive all the way from South Lake Tahoe to do business all summer!
Constructing water falls and koi ponds over the last 3 decades has provided me with an opportunity to work with several stone and masonry businesses. This business by far has been one of the most professional. A true pleasure to work with and would recommend them to anyone!
Excellent masonry store! We met Dan out in the yard who had a lot of practical knowledge. Inside was Mike who was extremely helpful! Not only do they carry a wide variety of stones, but also patio furniture, fire pits and bird baths!
