Horrible, HORRIBLE, job!

(Clears throat) Now that I have your attention…Let me tell you about my experience with Gustavo. First of all…Gustavo and Marlon (chefs kiss) AMAZING at what they do. I hired them on to remodel an AZ sunroom at my grandfathers and I’m amazed at the customer service and work they threw my way. Marlon is literally the sweetest, hard working man you’ll ever meet! Gustavo….eh he’s okay. KIDDING! They are honestly the coolest people out there. Gustavo and Marlon were super attentive, detail oriented, punctual, and understanding. I gave him a budget and he was awesome at getting the work done within the budget. There were a few hiccups with subcontractors but Gustavo did great at handling it. If I had any questions or issues, I could text or call Gustavo and he’d have it handled the same day! What was really awesome about the two of them was the way they made it a fun experience. They brought fun to a construction site and worked really well together.

Would I recommend ASC? Absolutely! Did I already, you bet.

We had a tub removed, and a walk in shower installed. Gusto was great to work with, has excellent communication skills. He and his men are on time when they are scheduled. Would gladly have Gus do another project for us.

We were referred to this contractor to remodel our kitchen. Our initial impression was good, and the workers behaved appropriately and professionally while in our home. Unfortunately the attention to detail was lacking through the whole project. Now that we are done we are having to hire a handyman or another contractor to fix some additional issues. Along the way we were told they weren’t doing anything wrong and that it was just our personal preference to want it done correctly. Also, because they did not plan ahead we had to pay for an electrician to come out three separate times during the project when we could have done it all in one visit with appropriate foresight. Our front yard was left a mess on more than one occasion with white puddles and holes in the gravel where they were mixing and rinsing and cutting tile etc.
The photos are of areas that still need attention in our home (including crooked cabinets with no handles) even though they are finished with our project. The counter top is an example where we let them know that the vein didn’t go all the way to the edge and they took no responsibility and said it came down to personal preference. We were forced to buy a full additional slab to correct it when it is plainly an eyesore. Based on these things we are unfortunately not able to recommend this contractor.

What a great experience I had with Gustavo and Amber Stone Construction. I had been wanting to remodel my master bathroom for years and remove a single shower and large jet tub and build a huge walk in shower. Gustavo made the entire process easy. He was extremely communicative, always on time, thorough, and he and his crew were super tidy. This was not a small project and it took almost a month to complete but I didn’t feel “put out” at all because they were so thorough and tidy. Not only did he do exceptional work but he was also extremely honest and fair. I love my new bathroom! Thank you Gustavo and Amber Stone Construction!!! If you have a remodel or construction project you have been considering, I can not recommend them enough!!!

Gus and his crew did a great job on my two bathrooms! They were always on time, Gus communicated well throughout the projects and pricing was fair. No surprises along the way! I’m pretty particular about things. When I asked Gus to modify or adjust things he always came through. I’ve worked with other contractors and haven’t had this same experience. I definitely recommend Amber Stone Construction! Thank you, Gus! We’ll let you know when we’re ready to start our kitchen remodel!
