Cox replaced our pebble driveway with concrete, which turned out great. The project got delayed about 1 week due to weather, but they did a good job keeping us updated. Recommend.
Great experience with Cox Concrete! Constructed concrete base for my pool/spa in very timely manner. Staff both knowledgeable and friendly. Both construction and clean up done promptly.
If I could give zero stars I would. I can’t say enough about the poor quality and bad customer service that we received during our pool deck project. Overall the workmanship was awful. The pool deck was left with unsupported and washed out areas under the corner and edges of the concrete deck. Seem lines are noticeably crooked. Concrete was slung and smeared onto our new pool steps. Water feature pipe caps were poured over so that they are inaccessible and unremovable. Another issue was an area of the coping around the pool edge that chipped and fell into the pool the day of the pour once the forms were removed. They then left it as a finished project and only returned once we called to complain numerous times. There fix was to patch it, or apply concrete over the area to build it back. The result is a completely mismatched color and texture that looks like a bad repair and not newly completed project. An offer was made to stain the deck, at our cost, but we refused as we were afraid of yet another poorly finished project. When we tried talking to them about our dissatisfaction with the project and poor repair, we were threatened to be taken to court and sued if payment wasn’t made by the next day. So in the end we are the “proud” owners of a poorly done pool deck that we get to look at every time we enjoy our pool. But we gladly share our story with anyone who visits and share our review here so that hopefully others won’t have to suffer the same experience. Our advice, stay away from Cox Concrete.
Justin Cox and Cox Concrete LLC came highly recommended by my veterinarian. Peyton, Tommy, and Brit were an excellent team. They did a fantastic job and even with last minute changes the job was finished quicker than planned. I highly recommend using Cox Concrete. Our job was more difficult than most. All questions were answered right away and any concerns I had were resolved right away. Many thanks to Tommy for taking care of us. He’s a gem. I will definitely use Cox Concrete for our future jobs.
I worked with Justin on getting a quote and getting the project scheduled for a driveway expansion and sidewalk addition. He came for the estimate on the scheduled day and time. He was very communicative and was easy to work with as we made modifications. The workers also repeated the punctuality, frequent communication, were very friendly, and did a fantastic job. We were ecstatic with the finished results and have already made recommendations to other family members to use Cox for their concrete needs. Justin even called to follow up and to be sure we were happy. It's nice to deal with competent contractors who deal honestly with no surprises and we plan on using them in the future for pressure washing and driveway sealing in the coming months. Save yourself the headache and labor calling all over town, just call Cox and pat yourself on the back for making the best choice.
