SRK General Construction, LLC

Before & After pics of our renovation. We highly recommend SRK Construction. Excellent communication, professional and completed project in a timely manner. We had ZERO issues during our home renovation. We cant say enough positive things about Scott and his wonderful team. We are soon starting phase two of our renovation. 5 stars all of the way!

Scott and his team did a fantastic job with finishing our basement, and removing an enclosed stairwell on our main level to turn it into a more open living area. He also added a pantry, closet, built in book shelf, and fixed cracking plaster in one room (that had been fixed twice already by other contractors, but kept cracking). I actually meant to hire another contractor, but after some miscommunication with the other guy and a whole mess, I fell into Scott’s hands and wow am I glad I did. He was very professional, communicated well, and just really made me feel at ease after a really stressful start with the other guy. They handled the irregularities of our 110+ year old house very well. The quality of his team’s work exceeded our expectations, and we absolutely love our final product. I would use SRK again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend him.

We hired SRK construction to finish our basement. We were immediately impressed by Scott because of his excellent communication and professionalism. Scott’s team is also very respectful and does an excellent job. Scott came by regularly to ensure things were running smoothly. He was organized and always on top of everything. The pandemic hit towards the end of our project but he still kept the project moving along in a timely manner. We love our basement and will definitely hire Scott again in the future!

We worked with Scott and his team to renovate our living and family room, and they were fantastic every step of the way! We were able to do some of the work ourselves, which was very important to us, and let SRK handle the heavy lifting. They opened up a load-bearing wall, took care of some extra joists to support a new stone fireplace, and took care of the drywall and all new lighting. They have truly transformed our home, and we wouldn't have wanted to do it without the fantastic expertise Scott's team brought to the table. Each person that entered our home was courteous and mindful of our small children. We will be calling Scott for our next big project - the kitchen!

We have had three major projects done by SRK: two bathrooms and finishing an unfinished basement, in addition to other, smaller jobs. For each project, Scott Knese worked with us through the planning and execution of the project. He is extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented and comes up with good ideas to makes spaces functional and beautiful, to address problems and to fit the project within budget. The workers and subcontractors show up reliably and Scott comes to check their work regularly. The work is always done to the highest standard and I would unreservedly recommend SRK for any size project.
