Owner responded to my call without hours of receiving it. A fair estimate was given work started immediately after receiving permit. Owner kept in touch of delays because of rain. Owner completed job as expected and I was 100% satisfied. I will definitely referred this company to any one in need masonry work.
We hired James White and Masonry Specialist to repair damage to the brickwork on our home from the Aug 25 2023 storms. Our area in University Heights took a lot of damage to trees, which in turn led to branches and tree trunks hitting homes. in our case, two of our trees broke in half and one landed on the roof of our home, damaging our chimneys and affecting every exterior wall to some degree.Most of the masonry contractors we contacted never got around to providing an estimate. James spent a lot of time with us going over the damage; he even spotted some things we had missed. He got us a very reasonable estimate that our insurance company approved immediately. He started within a couple of days. It rained in the middle of the job, but he finished as soon as the weather cleared. He was fast but precise. He finished promptly and cleaned thoroughly. As I write this, the mortar is still curing and there's still dust on the side walls, but he explained to us that we couldn't really rinse the walls for a while after the work is done because the mortar has to set first.We have a 1937 house that needs tuckpointing, masonry repairs and concrete work. We'll happily reach out to James and his team to do that work when we're ready.
Masonry Specialist is an dependable company. The work they did for me I am very very pleased with. The owner James white always kept me updated on the project and was very respectful and worked hard to complete the job on time. They cleaned up after the job was done and removed all old bricks. I had my steps rebuilder and they look awesome. I would highly recommend them for your job!
