Recent public reviews often mention concerns about truck driving behavior on local roads. Some commenters also note difficulty scheduling smaller-load deliveries during busy periods. There are limited responses posted to these concerns. Customers planning small projects may wish to confirm availability well in advance.

Well these guys(Brian) are not for small projects. I called up to see if they can deliver 1.4 m3 for my driveway extension project. I was asked to call next day and then next day and then next day to confirm for a possible schedule available anytime in future. Finally after many calls they said no room available as they are fully booked. So you can use their service only if you are a big builder or have bigger projects So do not waste time with them. .

Like many others on here, I have an issue with their drivers.
Dec 5,2024 at 1430 eastbound Barnet near Falcon truck #584. Posted speed limit is 50, truck was doing at least 70 in the right lane. Almost hit a Snap on Tools truck. Had to quickly change lanes to avoid an accident. Didn’t bother with signal light and cut me off forcing me to brake to avoid an accident. Judging by all the comments that are unanswered I am guessing this is unimportant to the company anyway.

Like others, I've had many encounters with their drivers, today was the last straw. January 23, 2023 at 9:04am - truck #573 ran the light traveling northbound on pipeline at galette. I was making a right turn on a green light off of galette onto pipeline when I saw the truck coming right for me. He slammed his brakes on, stopped halfway through the intersection which had a RED light and he waved me to go. Thankfully I took the moment to write the truck number down and will look into other places to report this since the reviews don't seem to have any effect. I see this again, I'm reporting it to the police immediately. There will be consequences to your actions. Whats it going to take? Someone being killed? That could have been me and my clients dog today.

I’m going to add to the bad driving reviews here.

Was driving eastbound down Highway 1 today around 2pm, and the driver of truck # 568 (licence plate had the numbers 5954 in it) refused to let me into the Coquitlam exit lane (even after I had my signal on for a good 5-10 seconds)until I had to force my way in. Then shortly after he sped up beside me and intentionally cut me off for no reason, causing me to slam on my breaks.

Maybe he was having a bad day or something, but it’s not acceptable to drive that way especially when you’re operating a massive, dangerous company vehicle..

Lou Vancouver on Coquitlam Concrete Ltd

Poor driving skills from truck driver #533 this morning, on Lougheed Highway heading East towards Coquitlam Center, at 10:20a.m.
Maybe his company would better serve us and everyone's safety by keeping him in the office...
Swerving from lane to lane with a multi-ton truck to possibly save couple minutes? Poor judgement...

Frequently Asked Questions

Availability for small pours depends on plant schedule and truck routing. It is best to call with your address, target date, and approximate volume so the team can confirm options. During peak times, smaller loads may be harder to book. Flexibility on timing can improve your chances of securing a slot.

Lead time varies with season and demand. Calling at least a week ahead for residential work is common, but more notice may be needed during busy months. Have your site details, mix requirements, and pour window ready. The dispatcher can provide the earliest available times.

Provide project location, contact info, desired date and time window, estimated volume, and any special mix notes. Let the dispatcher know about site access constraints or pump needs. Clear details help match the right truck and timing. Final confirmation typically happens after scheduling review.

Weekday hours are generally mornings through late afternoon, with the plant closed on weekends. Exact hours can vary by day and season. Call ahead to confirm dispatch availability and loading times. Early pours may be arranged when schedules permit.

A range of standard mixes is commonly available to meet residential and commercial needs. Share your engineer’s specs or application (e.g., driveway, slab, footing) to help select an appropriate mix. Specialty requests may require added lead time. The team can advise on options during scheduling.
