We contacted G. Christianson Construction Inc. for a preliminary consult knowing we would like some personalized work to be done on our new home in Corvallis. To his credit, owner and President Carl Christianson would touch base with us on a regular basis, never with a hard sales pitch pressure, but rather, always patient and kind. Once we committed to our kitchen/laundry room remodel job Carl's team immediately began the process of designing the project.

Our Interior Designer, Reagan, is highly skilled at the Home Designer Pro program used to layout our cabinets. She steered us through the local suppliers in Corvallis as well as those in Eugene, Salem and Portland. Company Vice-president and Project Manager, Tanner, ever tactful, always easy-going, has a keen eye for detail, and helped us understand the progress of the job on a weekly basis. His assistant, Sami, also provided a calm presence and reassuring approach with us. We enjoyed working with Ben, our Production Manager, who provided lots of energy and enthusiasm.

The construction team for G. Christianson is led by Dennis, a highly skilled Master Carpenter with knowledge on all aspects of our job: from rough carpentry to finish. Most importantly, Dennis and our Master Cabinet Maker, Ron, provided critical input during the design phase that really made our kitchen function far beyond our expectations. Ron and Dennis also steered us to choose walnut for our cabinetry, which turned out beautifully striking! We absolutely love it!

Sydney, our Cabinet Drafter, stepped in as needed with confidence and detailed explanations. Brandon, our CNC Operator, thrilled us with a demonstration of the CNC machine. His ability to program and run that machine was quite impressive. Alejandro, Master Carpenter, always assured us with his skill at problem solving. We also loved working with Master Carpenter Juan. I believe Lead Carpenter James was on the job as well, I remember him as quietly dedicated to doing his job well. Carpenters Maria, Jo, Roman, and Curtis came to work on our job with the same positive energy that all of the crew at G. Christianson exhibit. I leave out carpenters Kris, Gavin, Jerry, Jeff, and Walker only because I don't remember if they came over to work on our house. I am confident that their skills and demeanor are equal to the rest of their team members.

One of the most amazing results of our job was the flawless finish applied by Chad, our Master Spray Technician. The quality of the wood that Ron personally selected was richly enhanced by Chad’s immaculate technique.

Sub-contractors include Tanner Million at Judson's Plumbing, Ron Maxson at M&W Electric, Tom Habelt Tile, and Marciano at 7 Points Painting. Tanner, Ron, Tom, and Marciano are exceptional in their craftsmanship and in sharing important information with us in a timely manner. Also in this group are Jim at Bashful Bob's Doors, Dan George Drywall, Marcos at Comfort Flow HVAC, and Ben at Classique Marble. Beautiful work one and all!

A special mention for Trevor Storch Hardwood Flooring. Trevor is especially effective in his seamless skill at weaving hardwood flooring. His work was by far the loudest and stinkiest, but funny enough, also the cleanest despite all the dust created by sanding the floors. Along with the above-mentioned crews, this is a very impressive group of subs.

Finally, all of this is possible because of the office support team: Erin, Office Manager, - Eddy, Accounting Lead, - and Archell, Accounts Receivable. All of them welcomed us each and every time we visited, making our collaboration complete.

All-in-all, this is the most considerable group of people we have ever had the pleasure to work with; each and every person brought a joyful positive approach to the job and their experienced skill to their individual specialty. Together, they provided us with a most remarkable end-result. We remain astonished by the beauty of our kitchen and laundry and are grateful to have chosen G. Christianson as our contractor.

We were pleased with the work recently completed by G. Christianson on our sunroom remodel.

During the design process, their staff listened to our goals and offered suggestions to improve the structure and appearance of the room. The project timeline was managed closely so the work was completed before the winter weather arrived. Having weekly follow up discussions in our home was really helpful.

We chose to complete some of the finishing work ourselves & they gave us suggestions for completing that work.

A one year follow up gave us a chance to evaluate the long term effects of weather, and indoor use, as well as hear more explanations about the lights & screens in the room.

The G. Christianson staff and subcontractors were professional, respectful, and took pride in their work. They were considerate of our neighbors, and we trusted them on our property.

The team also did a great job keeping the job site clean and organized throughout the project. They cared about maintaining a clean & safe workspace each day.

We enjoyed working with G. Christianson and their staff and are appreciative for the beautiful work they did on our home. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a team that is professional, communicative, and committed to delivering quality results.

By far the best experience with a design and build contractor so far! The team at G Christianson helped us realize an amazing kitchen transformation. Everyone we worked with was excellent at their position.

Anna was a superbly skilled designer and great communicator who skillfully guided us through design (and remained engaged throughout the build). She had to serve as a marriage counselor on occasion when my wife and I were at odds with how to proceed and was very diplomatic and made a point to make sure everyone’s voice was heard.

Tanner our project manager was excellent! The weekly project updates (held at our home) were super useful in keeping us up to date on what was scheduled to happen that week. He made us feel like we were his highest priority and we developed a high level of trust with him in providing guidance when unexpected issues came up. Sami (Tanner’s assistant) was indispensable and excellent at keeping details organized.

Ben our production manager deftly handled issues that arose during the build (such as when we found out that the exterior siding on our house wasn’t originally installed straight).

Juan and Roman did an excellent job with demolition and framing and did their best to make this portion of the project less impactful. Gavin did a wonderful and careful job with appliance moving and installation.

Overall a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to use G Christianson again should the need arise!

Christianson completed a kitchen and laundry room remodel for my family. I’m incredibly pleased with the experience which began with small consultation and then proceeded into personal design sessions, loads of communication, and a project start date that was right on schedule. The company seems to choose only the most dependable and competent contractors to do jobs like plumbing or electrical or drywall/ paint. I will turn to those same companies anytime I need future work.
