They have done two large projects for us - an amazing backyard patio and stairs/landing and new walkway/stairs in front.They are very professional and do outstanding work at a very reasonable price. Would use them again and again.
These guys did an AMAZING JOB restoring a 100 year plus retaining wall. They were punctual, courteous, cleaned up after them selves, and the wall looks incredible.
I saw J & G Masonry’s truck on the road while I was driving a few weeks ago. We called them for a quote and decided to give them a chance to do our front walkway, and I am so happy that we did! Juan listened to exactly what I wanted and truly delivered! His team got the job done in a matter of days and we could not be happier! They paid attention to every detail and cleaned up after themselves! Juan and his team installed 7 thermal bluestone steps slightly curved towards the front door exactly like I wanted. They also installed a bluestone paver walkway with a cobblestone edge leading up to a large bluestone landing. They created a boulder wall along the steps and also fixed our old retaining stone wall. This walkway has been the best part of our home renovation! I feel so blessed to have such a work of art at my front door! Thank you to Juan and your team for a job well done! Exquisite work! We will definitely use this company for all our masonry and stonework needs !!

Juan was a very attentive listener and provided great feedback to help support our ideas for what we wanted to achieve and Giovanni and his team executed the job beautifully! They are both true professionals, easy to work with, their pricing was unmatched, and their workmanship and the final result speaks for itself!
We had J&G come out and Install a vinyl fence, patio with pavers including a fire pit and demolish stairs and put new stairs in with cement. Juan came out initially to give us the quote. I checked reviews which seemed great. However, we had some problems and we are still not pleased. First of all, they came out earlier than expected and we weren't prepared and we would have put things away that we had outside because it was a messy project. The fence and patio came out nice. However, when they demolished the stairs, there was rotting and we had to have another company come out and make a platform which wasn't a surprise. When J&G made the cement stairs, they messed up by making the stairs curve out and it was a sloppy job. Juan, the owner said they would make it right. However this was in May and he said he couldn't come back out until September. I would text him weekly to see if there were any cancellations. Once day I came home in August and they were here. Again, communication would have been nice. I didn't know they were coming and all my windows were open and it was a mess from them demolishing the stairs with a Jack hammer. They demolished the stairs and the owner himself made the new stairs and landing. We still aren't happy because they are still patchy and sloppy. He refuses to come back and make them right and please look at my photos. This is not a professional looking job. They still look terrible and now we are getting water in our basement when it rains. Juan said all we need is flashing between the landing and our house. J&G is a masonry company and flashing should be included with his job and he refuses to come back to fix it. We have been more than patient and just want our stairs to look good. We made the mistake by paying them in full before being satisfied with the job. Juan refused to answer my husband's texts and calls, he would only communicate with me. I would not recommend this company. His crew works really hard but should be checked on during projects to make sure they are doing it right. We just wanted this job done right, they are obviously not good with installing and laying cement. Very disappointed that the owner will not fix this job.
