Deep South Construction turned my crawlspace from “haunted swamp dungeon” into something I’d almost consider listing on Airbnb.They encapsulated everything, installed a French drain, added supports, leveled and cleaned the entire space, treated and removed the mold, and installed a dehumidifier and sump pump with electrical. They even put in a brand-new crawlspace door. After a hard rain, I checked it out—dry as a bone. Honestly, my crawlspace is nicer than some apartments I've seen.The crew was professional, courteous, and actually cleaned up after themselves (which already puts them in the top 1% of contractors). Bonus points: they eliminated the spider population but showed mercy to a lone salamander, who I assume is now the official property manager.Pricing was better than the other quotes, which made the whole experience even sweeter. All in all, if your crawlspace currently feels like a bad decision, these are your people.
I got about 20 quotes in total. They were not the cheapest but very fair priced. Miguel was amazing to work with! He taught me why they were doing what they were doing and the finished product shows! Him and his crew went above and beyond! They even straightened up the surrounding area for cosmetic reasons where they didn't have to! I will use and refer them every chance I get!
Brady and Miguel did a great job taking care of my project with Excellent communication. A 31x51 concrete slab with specific requirements for my building. Quality work, perfect to my specifications at reasonable price. I will do business with DSCP again. I highly recommend them.
Great salesman! I was all in. They finally showed up for first steps of contract. Then, Total silence. I texted my sales guy twice because my gate wouldn't close & wondered why I hadn't heard any news on the rest of work. Nothing. Crickets! Then I got a call asking for my balance. My dog ran away because they left my fence unable to close, petrified! I asked supervisor to come out & was basically pacified everything would be fine.After several questions regarding the work, I do not believe the were honest with me. I have pics, emails & texts. Such sweet people horrible results.lots of excuses. Gate still doesn't shut. Just now was accused of lying about the gate!! It shut before, now doesn't. Hard to maKe that up! I text salesman 11-24-25 & heard nothing until 12-01-25! Great customer service,proceed with caution1-7-26: lies & excuses. My fence opened & closed perfectly before the work began. Afterwards, it would not shut & the worker stated it to me, big guy in red sweatshirt! I had to sand down the fence so that it would close again. As stated in our phone conversation, I never received a VM from anyone so if I missed a call....I still have my texts that show a week went by without a response to my texts asking for assistance. I wanted it to work out differently but not the case. Next job, if there are errors on your part you might want to admit the error and simply offer to fix the issue instead of all the excuses & cover ups!
I am remodeling my kitchen that includes removing 2 load bearing walls and replacing with LVLs. The large wall irequired a 3 ply 20" deep LVL spanning 19'. It was difficult to find a contractor that replaces load bearing walls. I contacted Deep South Construction and Grant visited along with David Clark (Struct Eng they work with). I knew after reviewing the project with Grant and David, I wanted to work with Deep South. Every question I had they knew the answer. There were a couple of challenges that I reviewed with David and he had recommendations. The week of the work, Walter, Austin and crew arrived and I could tell immediately they knew what they were doing. Walter led the 4 man crew and they worked like clock work. I was amazed at their progress and the quality of their work. Things I was concerned about, they already had a plan. I would without hesitation recommend Deep South Construction especially Grant and David Clark (PE) and the Deep South field crew with Walter and Austin's team.
