We had a great experience with Goodfellas. Gerardo and Karla were great to work with. Karla helped bring our vision to life. We liked the Duke stone colors and design and Karla did a lot of research to get us the stone that matched it as closely as possible. It came out amazing, paired with the full color bluestone and Pennsylvania stand-up stepping stone. The crew was respectful of our property, avoiding areas that we did not want heavy equipment and went above and beyond to repair our grass and power wash our driveway after construction. They build to code and helped plan the drainage based on our preferences. They are a great family business who deserve your business for your patio construction. Can’t recommend them enough!
Great experience working with them! Out of all the contractors that I requested quotes from they were the most responsive and that responsiveness continued throughout the project. They were very patient with us as we went through an HOA nightmare to get approval and once we did, they were able to knock it out extremely quickly. The overall result looks great and the men left the place clean and in good condition when they left. Will 100% reach out again if I'm ever in need of more stone work!
Super happy with our experience and the results. We worked through several different design options and stone choices. We had to flex the schedule due to rain and Karla kept me informed. The crew was efficient and responded to a couple requested adjustments. I would use Goodfellas again.
We just had a wonderful experience with Goodfellas Stone Work getting a beautiful patio built in our backyard. Gerardo, the owner, and his daughter, Karla, were incredibly professional and extremely responsive. Only a day after I inquired on their site, Karla responded and both Karla and Gerardo came out to discuss the plan. Within a week, we had a layout, estimate, and start date. They also gave us a printed list of references for us to call if needed! Once we signed, the team started work that next Monday. I was extremely impressed with the team; they arrived by 8 am and worked until 5-6 pm at night with no issues. If they didn’t arrive on a certain day, Karla was sure to let us know the reason (e.i. rain, etc). After they completed the patio, Gerardo and Karla came back for a final walk through. We had some small questions/comments about finishing touches (trap for drainage system, how to help with run off) and Gerardo not only answered our questions but addressed the issues by adding the trap and laying down mulch. Amazingly, the entire experience was less than a month from the day we signed to enjoying our new patio. Gerardo and Karla were clearly proud of their work and really wanted to make us happy. I look forward to hiring them again for our next project!
