Lisa and I had a great bath remodeling experience with Spiro and his team. He went from us having a vague idea of what we wanted to his team installing a beautiful walk-in shower where a tub/shower combo once stood. Very diligent, thoughtful, and as clean as could be expected considering the type of work that was done. Always on time, and on budget. Great job!
Spiro Walpert is incredibly well organized and thorough. He does a great job explaining the required work and provides a thorough and complete estimate. He was incredibly fair and he went out of his way to help me dispose of items that were no longer needed. The cosmetic aspect of his work is second to none.I will be using Spiro in the future for jobs that are both large and small.
I contacted Spiro at SL United Construction on the recommendation of a friend who had had a similar project done. I recommend him to my friends with equal enthusiasm. The project was completed early and under budget - and the result sturdier and more visually pleasing the the original cantilevered deck that he was repairing. At every point throughout the process, Spiro communicated what to expect, making it as comfortable as possible to have the disruption of a construction project going on in the home environment. I could’t be more pleased, and I highly recommend him.
What a wonderful contractor! Best experience I’ve had with contractors lately. I highly recommend Spiro Walpert and his company SL United Construction. I had a small job, needed baseboards replaced after some massive plumbing repairs where a wall had been taken out that had floor to ceiling mirrors and had to be replaced. (The contractor who replaced the wall was supposed to finish the job after the mirrors were re-installed but just didn’t want to take the time to finish the job and I think because he realized it could be a problem nailing them in after mirrors were installed.) I found Spiro Walpert on the Better Business Bureau and Contractor’s State License Board websites and he had good reviews and was local near my residence, so I gave him a call. He was wonderful! He came and checked out the job to be done and explained the problem and found a resolution to make it work and did a great job! He explained everything involved, what he would do and got me on his schedule even though he was busy and my job was not a very big job, although it was a big job to me to get it finished. I can’t say enough positive things about Spiro and SL United Construction. I again highly recommend Spiro and will definitely be using his services again and again whenever I need someone.
