Damaso and his team are the definition of excellence. The brick path work they did in my backyard turned out perfect. They looked after every detail with outstanding skill and precision, and within budget. At the end of the day, the team made a point to clean the workspace and ready it for the next day. Damaso and his team are absolutely the best, no one is better. I will be using them again in the near future.
We hired Damaso to replace our walkway with pavers after meeting him and going to see one of his larger projects and being impressed. He did such a great job on our walkway that we decided to have him also replace an area of our yard with flagstones. We liked that he did the work himself and was meticulous. He had a helper, but Damaso laid all the stone so they were perfect. Both the walkway and flagstone patio are beautiful, and we would definitely call him again for other projects.
DJ General Building & Masonry did a fabulous job reworking our entire backyard from the ground up. They installed pavers for a patio and walkway, artificial grass, laid rock in the planter areas and planted over 40 plants. Damaso and his team worked exclusively on our project until it was completed. He was very professional and always helpful when we needed advice. We would hire him again without question.

We first hired Damaso over 15 years ago to build a stone wall and front patio— he proved to be the best home improvement decisions we’ve ever made. Since then, we’ve entrusted him with multiple projects, including installing pavers in our backyard, demolishing an old fire pit (due to a rusted gas line), reshaping and improving our DG pathways throughout the garden, and most recently installing an outdoor sauna, which required extensive trenching for electrical conduit, a cement foundation, with DG for aesthetics.In every project, Damaso has exceeded expectations.
