Cut the Mukilteo Ferry line on 5/12 at 7:15am. There’s plenty of room for more cars, and we’re early. Not sure why he needed to cheat… Probably says a lot about how they do buisness.
Hired R&R to raise our foundation and ended up wasting tens of thousands of dollars with no appreciable benefit. R&R was unable to raise our foundation. They ultimately gave up, sent us the bill, and all we have to show for it is a trashed lawn. In addition to the non-positive outcome, the project was littered with delays due to faulty equipment, broken down trucks, and scheduling conflicts, as our project extended beyond it's originally-scheduled time window and started conflicting with work they hadn't started yet. This suggests fundamentally low quality project management. But hey, the crew seemed nice...
So I had some work done by r and r back in 2019. I had six piers put in and really enjoyed Corey the owner… fast forward to 2026 and the other part of my house started having weird sounds and a crack in my ceiling… I live on a hillside and tons of water comes my way and a user error with a downspout may have caused more issues… I made an appointment to have him comeOut and do an inspection with a bid…. It’s pretty rare these days to not feel like you have gotten taken… Cory did all the measurements and well it appears the house is just settling. The house was built in 1980 by the original owners and was definitely not built straight. Anyway… Cory literally put me at ease and said. “Let’s just keep these measurements and check them out in a year or so. “He could have easily have just said… “yup. You need six piers….” He didn’t. I highly recommend r and r foundation… thanks for being honest… it goes a long way! Also… when I do need the work done… I, of course, will be using them!
The team and their lead did an incredible job. They informed me throughout the project and were amenable to our scheduling challenges. Overall, I strongly recommend R&R Foundation Specialist to anyone looking for repairs. They are quick, thorough, mindful of your home, and professional.
The house, built in 1911, underwent a significant expansion, likely extended 1930’ to 40’. Notably, the foundation concrete slab contains no metal, a detail we were aware of and initially caused some concern. After interviewing around 10 companies, we decided to go with R&R, largely due to their stellar reputation and Cory’s upfront approach. Their pricing fell comfortably in the middle range. Although the permit process stretched out over 14 months, we smoothly incorporated chimney removal into the plans, thanks to R&R’s flexibility. Throughout the project, they maintained a high level of professionalism, proving both pleasant to work with and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of interacting with them and learning more about our home.
