Marvin and his team did great. The end product was fantastic. It was very cool stamped concrete design. Then installers like Justin and the rest of the crew were professional and did a top notch job. Had a new backyard patio in less than a week. Highly recommend them and the stamped concrete style color turned out great.
Some projects go off without a hitch and everything falls into place. My project... was not one of those projects.There was a bit of miscommunication between Marvin at D&M Concrete and myself about what I was trying to do. My vision was to create a fully-enclosed indoor pool/hot tub room with a stamped concrete floor that would be heated in the winter. The "heated" part was evidently missed in our discussions. So, the pad was not poured with sufficient insultation or waterproofing, and did not pass code.But to Marvin's credit, he never once ghosted me. He answered all texts, emails, and phone calls right away. He worked with an engineer to come up with a plan and he worked with the inspectors to make sure everything was moving forward. Marvin went out of his way to make things right!Considering the reputation of contractors [in general] to bolt as soon as things go south, it's hard to overstate the reassurance of a contractor that stands behind their work, even when things go wrong. Rest assured Marvin won't leave you hanging.As for the stamped concrete pad itself, it looks gorgeous! I can't wait until the whole room is done.
D&M Concrete was wonderful to work with! They completed our project within two days and provided wonderful customer service when we needed additional drainage added after the project was complete. They respond quickly and have great communication.Our patio turned out better than we had envisioned and is a space we love to entertain with! We get compliments all the time on the quality and visual appearance of our patio. Would highly recommend!
