Patrick and his team did excellent work in completely re-building large sections of my retaining wall that was in bad shape. They also repaired my front and back porch steps that had developed cracks, etc... Patrick was very prompt and courteous in assessing what had to be done and has been a pleasure to work with. His pricing was very reasonable and fair. They showed up on time and did very clean work. This is a company I will use again for any such work and highly recommend them. They are true professionals!

We selected to work with this company because of positive reviews and Patrick’s knowledgeable interaction when reviewing and quoting the job. The project involved fixing some spots where joints had cracked in non-structural brick on the garage wall of our home. Patrick’s crew did a terrific job on their first attempt and the repair was great with very clean lines—but they used the incorrect color mortar (several shades too white).

Patrick then took and immediately cashed our check for payment but also sent the crew back to redo the work in the appropriate mortar color. The second time they did not take it apart and do carefully as they had initially. They tried to just grind out the front quarter inch or so and then smear in the new mortar. As you can see in the included images, it is really sloppy and again the wrong color as well.

Patrick came back and acknowledged that it was sloppy work, that they had again used the wrong mortar color (too dark this time), and that he would take care of having it fixed. We confirmed the appropriate mortar color again with actual samples (should be “Magnolia Buff/Brown Sand”—picture of that sample from Patrick’s last visit when we were told he would get it all fixed is included with images). But following that visit we have instead been completed ghosted for more than two months. We have left multiple voicemails and followed up several times via text as well as via email with zero response. This is disappointing because Patrick said so much about his personal commitment to being a reputable business. Our experience says otherwise.

I’m giving one star for the sole reason that the work is done…given it looks like I tried to DIY it. We have been following up for over 2 months with no response to our repeated outreach.

Patrick, the owner of Zebra Stone Artisans, is by far one of my all time favorite contactors! We decided to build a backyard patio and fireplace on a sloped yard and were so lucky to have found Patrick and his crew. He then turned around a very reasonable quote and was able to start our project right away. Throughout the entire project he communicated well and never went over budget.
