I hired Alphascapes in September 2023 to replace tile on my porch and gave them a deposit by credit card. For 8 months the owner, Alphonse kept giving me excuses on why he hadn't completed the project. Finally in April, 2024 I asked for a refund since he could not perform the job and was promised a refund by the end of May 2024. Alphonse no longer returns my phone calls and as of June 5, 2024 he is still missing in action. I hope no one else in Central Texas is taken advantage of this company.
The project was a Belgrade 350 sq. ft. courtyard paver project that involved deconstruction of existing flagstones, removal of existing underlayment, construction of new base and installation of new pavers. Work was in a confined space between two buildings with the need to accurately control drainage to a single existing drainage point. Construction crew was experienced and craftsmen when pavers need to be cut to match existing angles and pipes. Definitely a first class job.
We recently hired Alphascapes to install a concrete footer for our fence that was being replaced. Both companies coordinated their schedules, making it a well organized experience. We worked directly with the owner from start to finish. He was professional, communicated well, and was very pleasant to work with.
