Do not hire this group. Likely the worst concrete / hardscaper in the state.Escala contracted to do a pergola pad in my yard along with a pathway to my house. The job was scoped with proper grading. Escala did not grade the area, and even charged me extra to build a drain which doesn’t work.I am now left with a flooded yard, flooded home, and faulty work needing to be redone. The folks at Escala, mainly the owner, have no intent to remedy the situation and instead want to argue about it in court. In their eyes this is done perfectly.The owner is an overconfident individual who should not be trusted with residential jobs as they do not stand by their work.See attached photos of the flooded project - the owner claims this job is done right and he stands by it. I’ll let anyone who sees these photos be the judge of how well the job is graded. For context this job cost almost 8k and I am left with a destroyed yard, compromised home, and now forced to take them to court.Awful.
