Reviews

What customers say

Positive comments describe helpful, knowledgeable staff and a quick floor pour that impressed those present. A block purchaser says Economy refunded blocks that did not work for the project and directed them to other vendors with alternatives. One customer reported that concrete delivered for an apron slab later chipped and left pockmarks, and said concrete supplied for building pilings failed and had to be removed, re-drilled and poured.

We used economy for a few years. Purchased several hundred thousand worth of concrete through them. They delivered concrete one day for a 6k ft2 apron on a multi-million dollar home. The mix was full of slag and it all floated to the surface and then chipped out after it dried. Leaving pock marks all over the slab. A minimum 25k fix that Bill offered $1,200 to cover. When I stated I would not be using them anymore they sent me a text saying since I had stated I no longer wanted to use them all my accounts were due immediately. A few minutes later they withdrew the full amount owed on my account for the month off of a credit card I had on file without asking first. Poor quality concrete and poor quality customer service. Have used Lafarge ever since. We pay more but have zero complaints. On a side note, these guys supplied concrete for some pilings a few months ago for a building in which the concrete failed. The pilings had to be removed and re-drilled and poured. It simply is not worth the risk to pay a few dollars less for concrete.

Militia Concrete did a fantastic job on our shop floor, they were very professional and good to work with. We will have them back to do our house foundation.

Was very satisfied with the service and the people are great to work with. Eager to help and knowledgable. Definitely would recommend them and will be using their products in the future.

Peco Train

Price was right and they were local, picked up some blocks but when I got them they wouldn't work so Economy gave me a full refund and sent me on to two other vendors and products that will work for me. Placing my care above a sale says it all.
