Did a fantastic job on my sidewalk from my house to the driveway! Derek was professional and easy to work with!
DGS Concrete did the stamped concrete in front of my house. I like the stone-style pattern, and the finished area looks clean and well done. I added a photo so others can see the texture and layout.
These guys are the truth, the way they laid the concrete at my house was just espectacular. The crew was amazing, very professional & friendly! Can’t recommend them enough, whatever concrete needs y’all have , please contact them!
We're Real Estate Investors, we own and manage properties in the area. We decided to make some upgrades and wanted to hire a professional company so we wouldn't have issues or if we did those issues would be resolved in a professional manner. We relied on review this which this company had great reviews. Unfortunately, Derek and DGS Concrete & Steel Structureswhich Derek appears to be the owner of even though title on email says "Sales Manager", are NOT professionals.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. We deal with a lot of contractors for over 10yrs, there's a right way to do business and a wrong way. Completely unprofessional. I'm sure you can find a much better company with far better service and results.Derek and DGS Concrete & Steel Structures are money hungry, not customer service oriented. The day of the estimate, professional, on-time. Once we signed the contract and scheduled, I guess he cashed his check as level of serviced diminished. We had them on 2 projects over 3 days, over $10,000 for these 2 projects. We live 1.5hr, I confirmed twice including the day before the projects was starting that I was meeting his "team lead" at the site to confirm the location of the concrete pour at 8am. I was there at 8am, no one from his team was there. Around 810am I reached out and he said they would be there "around 830am". When I expressed that it was poor etiquette be late when I confirmed he said "this is construction". He showed up with his team around 840am or so. No apologies at any point. One project at 1 property was stamped concrete, the other was brushed concrete. The final result was not like anything we've seen delivered. The stamped was one solid color even though we picked 2 colors, he gave a nasty response and no compensation for the 2nd color not showing. He blamed the customer. He never offered his professional advise, except maybe that the colors might not be exact but will be color to sample. The brushed concrete I thought would've been easy but final result didn't look good either. To top it off, they left trash all over the yard which we ended up cleaning up.Being in this business for over a decade we understand things don't 100% of the time go as planned. Some of this could have be appeased with a better attitude and some final compensation. He demanded full payment and took zero accountability.
The concrete pad was poured and done, very easy to work with. Our steel structure looks great, it was installed within 2 days!
