We have a tricky little semi-circular brick front porch that was coming apart, along with some sections of the chimney that needed repair. I found Affordable Masonry through Google Maps, I read some of the reviews, and gave them a call. They weren't my first call, but they were the first one to get back to me. I offered to send them some photos; Kevin, the owner, offered to come out himself. Two days later, we're good to go!Could not be happier.
Call these guys before you sign with a big flashy overpriced company. I can't say enough. I have an old house with 100+ year old bricks including a front walk that needed extensive repair. Kevin came out and walked me through the repairs and gave me a very reasonable quote. After he was done I changed my words from repair to restoration. He used old bricks he had and used a few laying around my backyard to match the existing old bricks. What quality craftsmen Kevin and his son are! I'm going to try to include before and after video. Lots of single brick replacements that had to be sawed and chiseled out. (The mortar isn't totally dry yet in after videos but will match perfectly in a few days) Thanks Kevin, I'll be calling you guys for any future masonry I might need.
Absolutely awesome craftsmanship! Last year Kevin completely rebuilt our chimney incl. firebox (saving us from a potential house fire!), replacing front steps, a rock retaining wall, & new steps to the mudroom. We hired Kevin again this year for a patio & steps in the back! He is not a “contractor”; he & sons do all the work start to finish! Prompt to return calls and to schedule us in!
We had a good experience with Affordable Masonry Services LLC!Their pride of workmanship really shows. We had a brick patio and walkway installed and it looks great! Their price was reasonable, they stayed on schedule, explained next moves, and obviously know their craft. They did a super nice job! Thank you, Kevin!
Great experience with them replacing an old concrete block retaining wall. Getting lots of compliments not only after work was done but also during the work itself on how they were handling everything.. They were very professional and got everything done as estimated. Good price and great people to work with.
