Clever Concrete Construction Inc.

Juan was very patient with us while we worked through saving for the project and getting through HOA approval. His team completed the whole project in 3 days including demo. Their quality and attention to detail is evident in the results, just look at the pics. A complex slope like this can be tough, but everything is well blended and precise.

Clever Concrete completely transformed our old, uneven, cracked cement backyard into a beautiful patio that we will enjoy for many years to come. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Juan is extremely honest, knowledgeable, and truly committed to doing things the right way—never cutting corners. He was very insightful in guiding us through a design that met our expectations while also ensuring long-term durability and quality. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and Juan was always transparent, letting us know about any issues that came up and presenting thoughtful, practical solutions. The entire team was outstanding. They worked fast and efficiently, stayed on the schedule provided at the beginning, and were very clean—always leaving the job site tidy at the end of each day. Every worker clearly takes pride in their craft; they are true perfectionists, and it shows in the final product. Our project involved digging up the entire backyard patio, removing tree roots beneath the old concrete, and pouring a brand-new concrete patio with a beautiful top-cast finish. Great care was taken to ensure strength and longevity, including proper rebar placement and control cuts for durability. They also replaced a short planter wall, and thanks to one of Juan’s design suggestions, we chose a natural stone veneer that perfectly complements the concrete patio. The stonework was exceptional and resulted in a stunning planter wall. Drainage and proper sloping were also carefully addressed, with added drainage to ensure there will be no puddling or flooding—something we truly appreciate. The finished product is beautiful and honestly beyond our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We highly recommend Juan and the Clever Concrete team to anyone considering concrete work. You won’t be disappointed.

It was so very nice to work with Juan and the team. I was nervous about choosing the right color of stain and type of sealant for my job. The guidance and patience to make the right choices was so appreciated! It was a pleasure to work with them, the work turned out absolutely gorgeous (big improvement) and I just keep walking out there to enjoy the beauty!

We have asked Juan and his team at Clever Concrete to do several projects for us, including correcting poor work done by another concrete company who we worked with in the past. In all cases, Juan has done very meticulous work, with an attention to detail that is not easy to find today. In addition, he offers great pricing that is more than reasonable, all of his team is polite and they keep the job site clean. I will be calling Juan for a long time to do my concrete and pool projects as they come up, and referring Clever Concrete to everyone who asks me.
