Deric and his team did a fantastic job on our project! They poured the foundation for a 28x28 foot garage and then we ended up having them fix a section of our current driveway. We hired Deric to pour a backyard patio (40 ft X 20 ft) with 8 ft concrete steps and a 20 ft walkway to a 12 ft diameter firepit.My wife and I found Deric to be timely, professional, and just generally a likeable guy. His work was high quality and he took the time to ensure we liked what we were paying for.Timeliness: Deric called me on a Saturday, a day or two after I submitted for a bid online. He came out that very Saturday to provide the estimate and said he'd be able to schedule me in for the work by the end of August (we received the bid mid-July). Deric kept to his word and began work on August 24 while wrapping up everything on August 26. He called the week before to let us know he'd be coming. We were extremely happy with the timing of everything.Professionalism: Deric communicated with us throughout the process, including sending pictures. I was out of town for the entire process, so he worked directly with my wife while they both kept me up to date on progress. Again, happy here.Quality: I can't find anything to complain about. My wife and I didn't really know what to expect and we are absolutely ecstatic with the results. I'm not sure if it's common for concrete patios, but he and his team did a nice accent cut along the border of the patio - we both really love that. I feel like he pays attention to details and is creative in solutions, for instance we have a well casing that he had to work around and I thought the result was very elegant while maintaining the intent of the patio design.Price/estimate: I won't mention price paid, but we all know that these types of projects are extremely expensive right now. We did forgo getting other bids because we wanted the work done ASAP. That being said, we got a really good feeling from Deric and take him as an honest person. Similar projects of friends also show the we paid within the ballpark of reason. Deric was within ~+/- 1% of the estimate, which I would consider extremely good.I would recommend Deric and use his services again.Now, just time to install the pergola and hire our landscaper to get our backyard into order!Note: the stone firepit in the picture was installed by myself.
Great value and great communication. It's hard to find a contractor that will even call you back and Deric went above and beyond for me. He did the concrete around my pool, the concrete for a storage shed, and built the shed. Highly recommend him!
