ACC did an incredible job restoring my home after a fire. Jaylon and his crew went above and beyond to make my house a home again. Sam made sure to keep me updated on repairs and schedules. I was especially impressed with the after work care. Quickly responding to any issues or concerns I had after the work was completed.
ACC Construction performed excellent work throughout the entire repair process. From start to finish, they were responsive and professional to work with. Dylan was the foreman for our repair great to work with. The workers consistently arrived at the scheduled times, which made it easy to plan around the work being done. They were courteous, respectful, and communicated clearly about the work they were performing each day. At the end of every workday, they made sure to clean up, leaving the work area neat and tidy. They went out of their way to leave the bedroom intact as much as possible while replacing flooring so my mom could sleep in her room every night. The quality of the repairs meets and exceeds our expectations, and the entire experience was as smooth as could be hoped. Every time we made a change or added a service Dylan was quick to provide a quote. We knew a few things needed to be corrected from the original construction such as a shower head that was to low and he had already noticed replaced the new shower head at the correct height. I would have no hesitations referring ACC Construction to anyone.
Tree fell on house in June 2021. Insurance company got us in contact with this company. Finally got check from insurance in August. The estimate process was simple enough. So deposited check in bank, found out company wanted entire check but we mutually decided 50% was appropriate. (Never give ANY contractor full amount)August 20-ACC deposited the 50% down in their account. To start work week of Sept 7.Week of Sept 7-Told another weekWeek of Sept 13, to show up 0900 Sept 16.Thursday Sept 16, showed up after 10 am, I had called at 10 am to check if correct time. Worked til 2 pm, requested to leave early, child's birthday, I said okay. ( HUGE mistake)Friday Sept 17, crew showed up around 0900 we ran into town, crew was gone when we returned early afternoon, roof completely torn off, only white cover (felt?) left on roof. (Thought well they'll be back Saturday?)Saturday Sept 18 no showSunday Sept 19 rain beganMonday Sept 20-0600 still raining, realized no contact from them and no idea when returning, so called and told them I had to work, agreed to return Tuesday.Monday 8 PM-water pouring down kitchen wall in several areas. I text owner-no response.Tuesday Sept 21-0800 called office, was assured ACC would repair damageCrew arrived and busted rear to get metal on roof Exceptionally awkward and no one looked at kitchen wallWednesday Sept 22 no showThursday Sept 23 no showFriday Sept 24 1130 am crew showed up after I text owner at around 10 am, left after 1530 pmGot text saying job would be complete Monday Sept 27 and they would pick up money then.Monday Sept 27 no show let owner know work not completed, no money until job finishedTuesday Sept 28 crew showed up, started in house workWednesday Sept 29 I had to workThursday Sept 30 Repairs almost finished-owner wants to pick up money FridayFriday Oct 1-job finished, I had to leave early because son became ill and unable to drive at work, fine A C C will pick up check next weekAround this time they notified me that stain would cost extra? I informed them stain was included on estimate-was told okay never mind. Several items on our estimate was not done, and several wood items reused for roof "to save us money"-we paid full estimate amount. I offered to go over estimate with owner but he declined. I never got a full receipt of all actual work done. This company was not interested in a penny less but did take entire amount saved on tile for a roof repair unrelated to claim.Tuesday Oct 5-no results on PCR covid test for son, A C C agreed to mail paperwork to me and I would mail back.Thursday Oct 7, got paperwork but owner anxious for check, agree to let him drop by my work next dayFriday Oct 8, ACC has their money and we are relieved to be done with this company. One of their papers says "satisfied" with repairs, which technically yes we are, the insurance repairs. The water damage in kitchen wall caused by their failure to protect our roof while uncovered was not correctly repaired and is unsightly. ACC covered it up instead of tearing out/replace damaged drywall, and possibly tear old/replace insulation-yes that would have been labor intensive. We gave this company a chance to do the right thing. They slapped mud and drywall on it and called it done. Most likely will cost us hundreds if not thousands to repair.4 stars for actual insurance repairs (would be 5 if they finished in a week instead of 3 weeks) zero stars for staying on budget and negative stars for kitchen wall.
This is the absolute WORST company my family has EVER dealt with. The most unprofessional, poor value, poor quality I have ever in my life witnessed. My mother was left in a hotel for 6 months waiting on this company to get their stuff together even AFTER getting paid half up front. When the employees FINALLY showed up to do the work the man “in charge” made the decision to go through my mothers personal property to find a random (old) can of paint to do the bathroom, without permission from my mother. The light fixtures were crooked, the man had no idea how to do a threshold!!! He admitted to “googling” how to do it. The ceilings were not done correctly. There are things they did NOT do but made sure they got paid for. They took advantage of my mother‘s inexperience with construction work. We WILL be contacting a lawyer.
I had a tree fall on my house in December 21’ and Acc construction was who my insurance sent out. Well on Xmas day the tarp started to become undone and Sam himself came out to fix the problem. Sam and his crew have been the most honest and fair construction company I have ever dealt with would give 10 stars if possible. Top quality, professional, timely and they helped me with everything including dealing with my insurance company. They made a huge life event really easy on me and I couldn’t be more thankful. ACC construction was a blessing sent to me.
