I’m a contractor and had a really bad experience with Ramos Ready Mix.I scheduled a concrete pour for 10:00am. My concrete crew and the pumper were on site and ready to go at that time. The concrete didn’t arrive until around 2:00pm, and during that time I kept calling to ask where the truck was.The owner kept telling me, “It’s 5 minutes away,” and that it should be there, but it never showed. I explained that because of the delay I’d have to keep my crew late into the evening and pay overtime, and I asked if he could at least give me a small discount for the inconvenience.His response was, “Nope. If you’re going to ask for a discount, I’m just going to cancel your order.” I told him I’d still pay for the truck, whatever the fee was, but that in the future we wouldn’t be doing business together. Instead of working with me, he said, “No, I’m cancelling the truck,” and hung up on me.After that, he stopped answering my calls. I went over to the pumper, who had been waiting since 10:00am, and asked them to please call Ramos and try to get the truck sent out. When the pumper called, they found out the truck hadn’t even been loaded yet.So not only were we delayed for hours, but the owner gave me attitude, canceled my order when I asked for a reasonable discount, ignored my calls, and left us stuck with a crew and pumper on the clock and no concrete.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Ramos Ready Mix. If you value your time, your crew, and your schedule, be very careful about ordering from this company.
Very unprofessional this is the second time they showed up late this time an hour and a half late. Then they shorted me on concrete. Owner ended up cussing me out over the phone trying to make it my fault trying to justify his screw ups. Id be weary using this company and pay a little extra with the other companies. Cant afford to be making these mistakes doing concrete. Ramos didnt even want to make it right even after i paid them in full. Very crooked company id advise everyone not to take the chance and ruin your day along with your slab.
Called for a quote for concrete work. Patio slabs. Was called back promptly. Quote given on day scheduled. Workmanship amazing. Will definitely contact them again for future work. Special thank you to Fernando and his partners great work
