Excellent!!I could not be happier with this work. All of the crews were very professional and very courteous. They showed up on time, they did what said they were gonna do in a timely manner, even with the weather delays. I’m very pleased with the work here. I would recommend Able Concrete for any concrete work that you have to have done. This company has been in business a very long time and has a good reputation, and it deserves that reputation.Because they do good work. Period.Couldn’t be happier. Thanks to everyone at Able Concrete! Nice work!
Had driveway done in 2024, did not ask for less cost and paid what they asked by check . Thirteen months later I had flaking and ours in driveway. They said it was because I left my car out and salt dripped on driveway. Okay whatever after 13 months. Called 18 months later and talked to owner or general manager. My neighbor was trying to be a good neighbor and spread salt in a few neighbors driveways. We swept and washed salt outin less than ten hours. Had puts and flakes all over driveway. Called and talked to owner or general manager and he said it was not their responsibility. I told him other neighbors driveways did not pit and he responded saying maybe they had different concrete or materials used. Was not at all empathetic maybe a bit rude. I should have checked with other companies before I used them! Definitely use someone else for your driveways!!!
Able Concrete did NOT in fact go the extra yard! Our city contracted them to replace the sidewalk in front of our house. The sidewalk is fixed, however our yard is completely destroyed. The side that is not our property is one thing, but they also tore up our front yard, which IS our property. We called Able concrete to simply ask what their policy was, and if they were potentially coming back out to lay grass seed or rectify the situation. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, had zero customer service skills, and literally told my husband she was done talking to him. This is completely unacceptable and we will now NEVER consider this company, even though we had considered hiring them to do our driveway. Big loss. But that is what happens when you don’t have common curtesy. Very disappointed that we had to be innocent bystanders of this situation.
We hired Able Concrete from DeWitt, MI remove a broken sidewalk to our home. The crews were here on time and worked well together to complete each phase of the construction of a new sidewalk. I would recommended them for any job.
Hired in spring 2020 to add on to existing driveway. Seven new sections and front walk-way.There is now standing water every time it rains where the new section meets the old. Also, several new sections cracked completely across during the first winter and they got concrete slurry all over our red house bricks. The brick could not be cleaned completely, but they did what they could the day after it happened. When the owner stopped by to address the cracks and poor drainage in early 2021, he was gruff and dismissive. He claimed the cracks were too narrow to qualify for replacement and said they needed to be wide enough to fit a regular house key into before he would help. He told me to call back if they got bigger. The following spring when the cracks had opened further, I did call and sent the key pic included here, but nobody responded. As for the standing water, the owner admitted it wasn't right, but was only willing to fix if he could do it along with another sidewalk we were considering. He gave me a crazy-expensive quote for the sidewalk job which we didn't hire them for, and now almost 3 years later we still have standing water on the driveway and the new sections we paid good money for now have more chips and cracks than the old ones.
