Big Huhnks Excavation, Inc.

Pros: A local business that we like to support, as opposed to someone from Fort Collins or Cheyenne. They delivered a load of pea gravel within an hour of us calling and ordering it on a Saturday Morning, responsive to phone calls. Cons: We ordered one ton of pea gravel for delivery. We were charged more than originally quoted on the phone for one ton of pea gravel + delivery. Called to clarify the increased charge and were told we were had a ton and a half delivered to our house. I told them we only ordered a ton, not a ton and a half, and was told, "well, that's just how we pour". So, they pour an extra thousand pounds over the ordered amount, call it good, and charge for it? Now we have an extra thousand pounds of pea gravel that we didn't order, don't want/need, but were charged for. Additionally, when our credit card was charged, they charged it for $1,700 instead of $170. They were quick to refund the difference, but that was a little shocking. Will likely use again since they seem to be the only game in town for bulk landscaping supplies, but hoping to see some improvements on our next order.

Excellent - Every time! We have used Big Huhnks several times. Every time they have done work - big or small - they are quick and professional. In every encounter they show their professionalism. We will continue to use them. If there is any issue, they are quick to resolve it. They are willing to answer any questions you have (even if they might be silly questions - I don't know a thing about construction). Rest assured they know what they are doing. Stellar performance!
