We had a really positive experience with Joe's Masonry. I requested a quote, and the owner of the company personally came out the next day to give us a quote. We got several quotes, and this quote was very fair. Our stoop had decorating mortar. They cut all of the old mortar out and replaced it with mortar that matched the rest of our brick. They then extended two narrow stairs to make them the width of the stoop with additional bricks. This involved digging out dirt and pouring a concrete foundation before extending the steps. You can't tell the difference between where the old steps ended and where the add on started. They were kind, friendly, and conscientious. They said it the job would take 4 days. Four days later it was done. I have had so many bad experiences with home repair. This was not one of them. I would recommend this company if you are needing brick work done.
I had gotten estimates from other local companies for over 3 times as much for the brick work needed on the front of my home. Jose was very knowledgeable and experienced and gave me an estimate for what I really needed, not what the other were trying to sell me. He was prompt, on time and got the job done when he said it would. I will use them again on another project
