To begin with, our project took over 2 years. They would come a day or two and then leave. To be fair, Charlie was sick for a short time.Our back patio is approximately 60' and the bricks are a crooked herringbone and, as you can see, has more than a couple low spots. Additionally, the brick and stone was not properly cleaned of mortar haze and sealed properly.The front fountain, when full, was leaking like a faucet into the garage. I had them come out and tear off the stone work they lined the top with and there was a half inch crack without mortar. I had already spent $400 on sealer and done the work to seal the walls. Now I need to fix the crack, take the tops off the block, put reinforcement rods in and concrete inside the blocks.I also have a Crack running the entire width of my back patio. I will assume, based on 14 years in the trades, that that was the result of not compacting the soil they used as fill. And the lack of tie rods.The stone patio and side walk around the pool is a safety hazard. My 84 year old mother is unable to walk on it for fear of tripping.We paid Authentic Stone Creations over $60k and I will never use them again.
We hired Authentic Stone Creations to do the foundation for our new Home Addition which included two retaining walls. Their team exceeded our expectations. They came prepared and completed the work on time (even with the rain that month). They left the site clean, and we will do business again! Thanks!
