About a year ago, I discovered a wet patch in the corner of my basement window. After investigating, an inspector explained that my basement windows needed new lintels, and so I hired Briques & Cie to complete the work.My experience with them was straightforward and pleasant. Unlike another company I had contacted, they took an interest in my project despite being fully booked for the season. They sent somebody over to look at the work to be done, and they were happy to schedule ahead with me into the following summer. This was much appreciated.When the work day arrived, the two workers began early in the morning and answered all of my questions. I made an espresso for each and offered them a freshly-baked cookie. They were appreciative.I would most like to thank Veronique who communicated with me by e-mail throughout. Her responses were timely and cordial. It makes a big difference when a company invests in an individual who pays special attention to communicating with clients.Thank you Briques&Cie for everything (and especially for replacing my lintels)!
Usually eternally disappointed & jaded when it comes to services received, Briques & Cie has restored my faith in humanity. From beginning to end, they were beyond expectations. Professional, skilled, and efficient. Delivered BEFORE the estimated date. The results were amazing. Good quality workmanship. Danny, Vincent, Véronique were all A+. They actually care. Highly recommended.
Great work done, My only issue is that they used a couple of sub contractors to do the work and they took a month instead of a week and a half. they left a brick pallet in my yard.however, Danny, was very helpful during the entire process and kept me in the loop.Cheers
We bought a gas fireplace in June from them and paid 50% up front. It was finally installed in October after many wrong moves. We were sold a "cle en main" or one stop shop solution but it was not at all that. What we did not know was that they subcontracted out the job, forgot to tell us to order an electrician and the product we received had a gas leak. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. Perhaps this company is good with brick work but leaves a lot to be desired for fireplace work. On the positive side the owner was pleasant and apologetic but after a while, i just want it to work.
