This family-owned business is exceptional in every way. Nick Nelson was the one who oversaw the work at our home. He is super responsive and a highly-creative problem solver. Kim helped repair our two-story stone fireplace, and then found a solution to avoid having to cut into a separate stone fireplace in the bedroom. Nelson Masonry repointed the brick stairs to our "experienced" home and did a superb job. By removing and replacing the old mortar, the stairs are safe, look attractive, and are ready for service for years to come. A couple of other companies I called previously either failed to show or were confused about whether they performed masonry repair. Nelson Masonry showed up on time, completed the job efficiently, and ensured I was satisfied with the results. I was!
I am on the board of the Silver Ridge Homeowners Association here in Johns Creek. We had a pillar almost tip over due to a small sink hole. Nelson Masonry came out a did a wonderful job correcting the problem (see attached photo). They had to go into the sink hole and fill it up before laying a foundation of concrete for the pillar to sit on. All of this was done with great accuracy, superior customer including the office who I initially talked to and respect to the property. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend them in the future.
Hiring ANY contractor or company is scary. You can see the pictures and review the reviews but you still never know. Hired Nelson Masonry to replace the brick around my front porch. Top notch communication, priced fairly, took tremendous pride in the work, and the overall completed project was STELLAR. I can breathe a sigh of relief. ?? FINALLY!
