The concrete facade on our home's foundation was cracked and starting to break away in some places. Drew took our call, and made a trip to our home within 24 hours of us contacting his company. After a thorough inspection, he determined the foundation itself was solid and sound, but could benefit from concrete resurfacing. He was able to schedule us for the work within 2 weeks of our first contact, and the work was done in a single morning. The crew who came to our house did a phenomenal job. The resurfaced concrete facade is flawless and uniform all the way around the house. The crew was also kind, patient, and left the site spotless after the work was complete. We had a great experience with Drew Gardner Concrete. They were prompt in responding to our inquiry and came out as scheduled to look at the work, provided an estimate on the spot and sent a written copy, and showed up on time for the job. I appreciated that they didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need and just focused on the repair to be done. Work was completed quickly and well; Connor was very nice and very professional. It was a small job but we'll definitely look at this company in the future for larger projects.

Update - Poor Quality + Drainage not solved. Stay away.

We paid Drew $20,000+ in cash to grade away from our house, add drain tile, a custom timber window well, and a couple egress windows to keep our basement from flooding. We were assured we would no longer have to worry about any flooding at all. The work was performed in the fall.

As soon as the snow started melted in the spring (only months later) our window well flooded, held water and drained into our house over our newly framed windows. I called Drew and he said he was busy with taxes. I needed it fixed right away and Drew told me to go drill holes in the exterior brick to let the water drain. Drew explained it wasn't the best thing to do but it would allow the water to drain. I declined to do the work myself and Drew eventually showed up a day or so later. My window well was leaking water into my basement for quite awhile. It was a urgent matter that was not addressed quickly. Drew drilled holes in the exterior block and the water started to drain through the wall, not the best solution.

As the snow continued to melt through the spring, the window well kept pooling up with water. I eventually pulled back some rock and found poly was put down in the window well which was holding the water and not allowing it to drain. I pulled back the poly a bit and the water drained quickly. After doing some research I found that there is not supposed to be any poly in a window well as it does not allow water to drain. This should have been a simple fix. Also, the craftsmanship of the timber window well itself was horrible. It didn't make it one winter without warping and separating. They skimped out on the fasteners and the timbers could easily be pulled apart.

I would not recommend Drew or his services to anyone. High price for sub-par work and customer service.

Okay, here is the deal. We moved from Arizona to Minnesota and we found out our amazing home inspector missed the fact that there had been terrible basement flooding issues in our new home. After reading about drain tile and grading (which I know nothing about) I looked up reviews for someone to help us out. Drew got great reviews so we called him up. He responded quickly and really educated us on what this stuff was all about. He gave us a quote after personally inspecting our house. I got a couple other quotes from different companies and Drew's quote was more than fair for the amount of work they completed. When compared to the other contractors I spoke with, Drew was much more knowledgable and wasn't just looking to cash in on our dilemma. I'm not going to lie, it was expensive to get everything done, but I can sleep soundly knowing that Drew and his crew did an absolutely amazing job. The attention to detail and quality of work was great. The crew was cheerful, fun and got the work done correctly. I did have a couple minor concerns with the installation of the drain tile which I spoke to Drew about and he fixed the issues promptly with no problems or attitude at all. When the job was done the grass was looking really bad from the machinery used to do the grading. Drew assured me it would grow back. It started coming back but I still had my concerns. Drew sent me a check to get the lawn fixed without me knowing. The lawn is fine and the project is done. Thanks Drew and crew!!!!
