This was a great experience from beginning to end. They listened to what we were trying to accomplish, presented options we had overlooked and were clear and concise on the costs. No high pressure sales on additional work they felt we would benefit from, which we did ultimately choose to take. They maintained great communication, were fast and efficient and when the job was complete there was no evidence they had ever been here except for the awesome new patio and sidewalk! By all means, go get 3 quotes, but A Plus Concrete is the one you should pick!
I can’t praise A Plus Concrete, and its owners Andres and Rachel Arias, enough. They were extremely timely, responsive, professional, and went above and beyond with our project. Best of all, they did beautiful work at a reasonable price, finished early, and took care of our property like it was their own.Our site has difficult access, and no way to pump concrete directly from a truck. Andres took this all in stride, anticipating the problems and answering all our questions. He carefully laid down protection for our yard, and carefully backed a trailer in to haul away debris. Andres and his crew are incredibly hard workers. They arrived early, and left late, with Rachel keeping us well-informed about everything. A special touch was the creation of a custom step made from a piece of concrete that was dear to us. When A Plus left, they even regraded our driveway!A Plus is right! Thank you, Rachel and Andres.
I recently hired Andres and his team to extend my patio with a new concrete slab for a hot tub, and the entire experience was outstanding. His estimate was a very reasonable - actually a bit lower than another company I’ve used for previous projects - and the value he delivered exceeded expectations.Scheduling and payment were handled by his wife, Rachel, who was friendly, organized, and great to work with. On the day of the job, Andres and his crew member worked efficiently and respectfully, making sure the project was done correctly without disrupting anything we had going on at home. It was clear that he takes real pride in his work and in keeping the property clean.What really impressed me was that he came back the next day to replant grass seed in the small areas where equipment had disturbed the lawn. That level of care is rare. After the project was finished, I asked for advice on another idea I had, and thanks to his knowledge, I now feel confident tackling that one myself.This was truly a 5-star experience, And I will absolutely be calling Andres again for future projects. I am very happy with my concrete pad for a hot tub. A Plus Concrete owners worked with me on the design and location for the pad. They know what they are doing: installing conduit for the electrical wiring, slightly sloping the pad per hot tub installation instructions, suggesting a walkway and reinforcing the concrete with rebar. It was a cold damp day and they did the entire job in one day, including site cleanup and reseeding the grass around the new pad. So far, so good as the concrete dries!
After not hearing back from multiple local Sedro companies, I expanded my search and emailed A Plus Concrete. They got back to me within an hour on Friday, gave an on-site quote on Sunday, started work on Wednesday, and completed Thursday. Andres and Rachel were great to deal with and the 12'x20' patio in our backyard turned out great. The pricing was fair and the work was done quickly and high quality. I would absolutely recommend A Plus Concrete.
