From our initial meeting with the founder of McCabe's, John, to the design meeting with the owner, Melissa and the numerous interactions with the support staff such as Diana and Luis, the whole process has been both seamless and professional.The project, at our new home in Fallbrook , encompassed landscaping, hardscaping, pool construction, irrigation and lighting. To add to the complexity, the entire build process was done whilst we were out of the US. We recently hired McCabe’s Landscape to transform the yard of our new construction home, and we couldn't be happier with the results.In the backyard, they did a massive amount of prep work, tilling the soil and getting it ready for Bermuda grass and a new garden. They also fixed some messy concrete work left behind by a previous company, which really polished off the look of the space. It’s now the perfect spot for our dog to run around and for us to hang out day or night.For the front yard, they pulled out the basic builder plants and replaced them with a beautiful variety of colorful annuals. They even suggested Kurapia as a ground cover so it wasn’t just a sea of mulch, which was a creative touch we hadn't even considered.What stood out to us:The Planning: The 3D rendering in their office was a game-changer. Being able to see the design and make "in the moment" changes helped us feel confident before they even started digging.The Crew: The communication was excellent. From the office team to the project manager and the foreman who was here every day, we always knew what was happening.Cleanliness: They were incredibly respectful of our property, cleaning up tools every evening. On the last day, they even pressure washed all the hard surfaces so everything was sparkling for the final walkthrough.If you’re looking for a team that is knowledgeable, efficient, and has a great eye for design, I highly recommend McCabe’s. They turned our blank slate of a yard into a space we actually love.
From our first phone call we were treated like royalty. We can only give 5 stars but I think they deserve 100 stars. They came in at the price quoted, were always on the job, answered any questions and concerns with understanding and politeness. The job they did was beyond our expectations and we would recommend them to everyone wholeheartedly .

From start to finish this team was awesome. I know what I like and had an idea but I needed help transforming it into my backyard. The design team did amazing and gave me beautiful options. To stay in budget we had to take some things out but my dusty backyard is now transformed into a beautiful landscape. I cannot wait for my trees to grow in and see what they all look like established. The crew was respectful and clean and did great.
