A Stone's Throw Masonry

Within two hours of my call, Lee came and did an assessment on my chimney. He came the very next day And made the repairs . Did an excellent job and I am so pleased with his Service. Thank you to Lee and Jett for A job well done. I would highly recommend Nanaimo Masonry. Prompt, polite service and excellent work. Thanks you guys!! Kudos!

I recently needed a WETT inspection on a fireplace at a rental property for insurance purposes. The report flagged some necessary repairs—specifically, work on the chimney crown and repointing of the bricks. Not knowing who to turn to, I relied heavily on reviews to find a reputable mason, which led me to Stones Throw—and I’m so glad it did. From the first contact, Lee was responsive, professional, and clearly experienced. He understood the urgency of my situation and went out of his way to fit the job into his schedule quickly. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything was handled—even without meeting in person. Lee completed the work exactly when he said he would, at the agreed-upon price, and sent clear photos of the finished repairs. Thanks to him, I avoided three unnecessary trips to the property, which was a huge relief. The quality of the workmanship speaks for itself—it was done to the highest standard. I’m truly grateful for the reviews that led me to Stones Throw, and I hope this one helps someone else feel confident in making the same choice.

I recently purchased a property in Qualicum that I would not be moving into for several months and I needed to find a contractor to renovate a fireplace veneer that just didn't work for me. Got several names to consider and ended up going with A Stones Throw masonry. Honestly, I'm struggling to find the right words to express how happy I am with the work that was performed. I wasn't on the property at the time the work took place but was given daily progress reports. Like most renovations there are usually surprises and that was true of mine. Lee worked the problem and resolved the issue staying on schedule. As I sit looking at the work that was completed, it occurred to me that this fireplace now qualifies as my first official art purchase for my new home. I can't stop looking at it! Thanks Lee!

Stop! Don’t go anywhere else for masonry work. Lee is amazing, we thought we had a small job and nobody would take the job but Lee not only agreed but helped us prep. He was patient, trustworthy, and dedicated. We ended up doing a lot more brick work. Our house is beautiful! Thanks Lee.
