Our deck was leaking into our garage and our back awning was also no longer stable.Honest and straight forward in the estimate process. Did not try to oversell us.Clean and thorough work and workers. They kept all materials and workers out of the house utilizing ladders and crane to get all supplies onto our balcony.Fixed the leaking deck and replaced all materials, including cosmetic beams to keep the design cohesive. We had a leaking deck wrapping around our living room. I called KDOC, and James came out to visit me the same day. Within a day or two, he provided me with three quotes, giving me good, better, and best options. I chose the route I wanted to take, and we got the work scheduled. James and his crew got the entire job done in two weeks, something I didn’t think was possible. His team was hard-working and professional the entire time they were at our house, and we are very pleased with our new deck.
We recently had our 25 yo deck repaired and refreshed by KDOC. We chose them after obtaining other quotes and on the recommendation of a neighbor. We are very happy with the work performed and with the entire process. James and his team (employees) were knowledgeable, talented and communicative. They were on site and on time every day and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. They explained all the steps as they worked. Since we did not know the extent of repairs necessary James provided a detailed quote of all potential repairs so there were no surprises and we could decide what we wanted done. Fortunately much of the deck was fine so it was not a complete replacement. The finished product is excellent. I typically do not write reviews for Google but KDOC was exceptional.

We recently contracted with KDOC Construction to rebuild our two outdoor cantilever decks. This was a challenging project as the decks were 35' and 25' off the ground, respectively. Both were original construction with considerable damage from the coastal environment. We interviewed over ten contractors before meeting with James, the owner. James was the first and only contractor who fully understood the scope of the project and offered creative solutions for the demo and construction process that included multiple choices of materials that met our vision and budget. He managed every step of the project efficiently keeping the timeline on schedule. His crew was excellent. All were skilled carpenters who worked together as a team very well. They arrived everyday promptly at 7am, were polite, respectful and cleaned up the site at the end of each day leaving our house quite livable during the construction. We are very pleased with the outcome. Every detail is first class. We are happy to give KDOC Construction our highest recommendation.
