Groome's Brick & Foundation was a great partner to work with. They poured two footers - each with thread rod sticking up and pvc pipe for electrical - for two statues we recently installed. The also dug a trench for the electrical and installed a pole for our solar panel. They were great communicators, keeping me updated on what was taking place. We are not based in Norfolk - or the state - and blindly trusted that they would handle everything as laid out - and they did! Days when we were onsite, they were on time and extremely helpful and patient. Very excited to have found this team and will be working with them again in the near future.
Awesome job. Able to get the work done even with less then adequate weather. Removed the old wooden stairs that were falling apart, and replaced with brick.
Did a wonderful job on the patio and even fixed a broken brick I had on my stairs without me even mentioning it! (They did not break the brick, it was broken before the project). Would recommend! Worked with me through some payment issues and fixed a small area of damage to my siding no extra cost. Responsive and included me in all aspects of the project. I felt like the CEO, in charge of all changes and quality but didn’t have to do any of the hard work. Super friendly and professional!!!
Repairing chimney brick in kitchen that had holes from cabinets that were taken down during remodel of kitchen.They did a Great job of blending the color on brick that had holes. They also told me that the mortar joints would take a few weeks to cure before color match older mortar joints. They did a great job of communicating with me once the job was scheduled.The quote was based off pictures I sent them which made it very convenient for me. They rescheduled from first visit because they did not have correct color to match brick but it was only 3 days later.All communication were done by email & text which was easy since most people have access to it. Great company to work with. Gave me an estimate to repoint my front steps and replace the crumbling bricks on the side porch wall with a 9 week backlog (which I was fine with and glad they were honest about it). Groome's contacted me at the 9 weeks and scheduled the work for that week. 2 days later, the work is done and my 80+ year brick steps and side wall look amazing. Very happy customer here.
