Concrete installation and replacement for driveways, patios, walkways, and slabs; decorative stamped concrete; site prep and cleanup related to concrete work.
Reviews commonly mention professional communication, organized crews, and strong results on stamped concrete patios and driveways. Several customers highlight cleanliness and backfilling/cleanup after pours. A few critical reviews cite concerns about workmanship outcomes and follow-up on cracking, noting mixed experiences with management response. Overall ratings trend positive with some variability by project.
Very pleased with the end result. Everything costs as expected and communication was great. Had many different estimates from many different companies and L&S was by far the most professional and honest.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after spending nearly $10,000 on this project, I feel a responsibility to share my experience honestly and fairly.I am a 53-year-old woman who invested significantly in what should have been a straightforward concrete project. The crew itself was hardworking, kind, and professional — I even brought pizza for them because they were genuinely pleasant to work with. My issue is entirely with upper management and the front office. From the moment I raised any gentle concern or asked a simple question, I was met with hostility. I was screamed at by the owner and project manager. When I voiced my concerns, I was told rudely that I didn't know what I was talking about and that they knew better. When I called the front office to express my concerns, they hung up on me. My questions were dismissed in a patronizing, condescending manner designed to make me feel as though I was being unreasonable. I was not. I was polite, patient, and reasonable throughout. What makes this especially troubling is that management themselves admitted this was the hardest job they had ever done and that they were not adequately prepared for it. That admission alone should have come with humility and a commitment to making things right. Instead, it came with defensiveness and blame directed at the customer. As for the work itself, I have extensive photo documentation of the following issues:• Crooked saw cuts• Sloppy, unfinished edges with visible hand impressions• Damage to my siding from their saw• Cracking in multiple areas already deeper than a fingernail — on a brand new job• The electrical wiring for my courtyard water fountain — which we explicitly discussed running back under the concrete the same way it was done previously — was never addressed. This now requires boring under new concrete at additional cost and inconvenience.Additionally, I had originally requested a brushed finish. When the crew arrived and explained the difference between brushed and stamped, I upgraded to the more expensive stamped option on the spot. Rather than appreciate a customer willing to spend twice as much, management was visibly annoyed by the change. That says a great deal about how this company views its customers. At the final walk-through, the owner fully expected me to be thrilled with the result. I was not. I told him honestly that I was just okay with it — that I didn't love it. He didn't care. It was clear he simply wanted to get paid and move on. But what truly shocked me was what came next: he had the nerve to ask me to sign a statement agreeing that I would not leave a negative review. I refused, for obvious reasons. The fact that this was even presented tells you everything you need to know about how this company operates. This job was sloppy, rushed, and clearly beyond their capabilities — something they admitted themselves. For a nearly $10,000 project, I expected basic courtesy, professionalism, and accountability when things went wrong. I received none of those things. I would not recommend L&S Concrete and urge others — especially those who ask questions or expect to be treated with respect — to look elsewhere.
L & S Concrete just finished a beautiful, stamped driveway for me today. Wonderful experience working with L & S .They backfilled around the new concrete and everything was cleaned and organized. The crew was professional , very kind and respectful. Highly recommend.
L&S uses Landvatter Concrete, and I urge you to beware. I gave Scott nothing but time and relied upon his word for a great finished product. What I got was cut corners and one company in cahoots with another to leave me with "cosmetic" cracks over the majority of my driveway. I'm disappointed neither of them did the right thing and replace this unsightly work. I will follow up with more pictures.
L & S Concrete is a great company for Concrete work. My husband got a bid for our back patio to be ripped out and replaced with stamped concrete. They gave us a great bid so we hired them for the job. My husband had interviewed several companies and was impressed with Scott one of the owner's concrete and water flow knowledge. We hired them and they hit it out of the park! Our patio is gorgeous, it looks like real stone and drains well. Since they did such a great job, we asked them for a bid to replace our driveway and front sidewalk. We have a lot driveway and large area atthe bottom at the garage with a drainage pipe. Scott gave my husband a bid for the job and we were pleased with the quote and hired them to start the job. Our front sidewalk is 5 feet wide x 110 feet long a lot of concrete! They did the job in 3 days which we were also impressed with. It is very nice and drains beautifully! They did such a great job in a timely manner. They made our sprinkler heads, dog fence wire, and driveway/sidewalk lights fully oprational again. We are happy campers! An AAAAA+++++++ GREAT JOB!
