Communication, punctuality and performance are the three things that matter most to me when choosing a contractor.J Vincent Concrete exceeded my expextations in all three areas which is why I am writing this review. From contact to completion each step was flawless. His eight man crew worked diligently and professionally placing and finishing 34 yards of concrete like it was no big deal. I highly recommend John and his crew if you want and expect the best !
John installed a 1020 sq foot patio for me 4 years ago. A month after install we started having issues with spots and haziness all over it. John did come back to TRY and fix it several times over the course of four years, but it continued to get worse the more he messed with it. It would look good for the first week and after that, it would look worse than before. He has sealed it now 5 times and even used xylene once. We believe he has over sealed it and now refuses to fix it. We have been dealing with this nightmare with him since installing our patio. The patio needs to have all the sealer stripped off. And John does not want to do this probably because he realizes it's gonna be a lot of work to strip this size patio and expensive. John is very difficult to deal with when he makes mistakes. Every contractor in the business of concrete has an issue at some point with sealing a patio. Unfortunately mine was the one for him. It would be nice if he could just be a stand-up businessman and fix his mistake. 1020 ft.² of patio cost a lot of money that John got paid to do this job. And the finished product is definitely not satisfactory work. It's even cracking in about 5 different sections now and crumbling apart. I believe this job was too big for John to handle. I suggest if you want a concrete patio poured find another company. This patio now has pitting because of too much sealer. Again do not use this company, find another. This has been a very frustrating 4 years for us! We are still trying to get Jonh to be a stand up business man and fix the issue or find someone else who can!Check out the photos of his less than 1 star work.
John and his crew did a fantastic job upgrading our former deck area to a new patio. Also put a new top on our front porch. We could not be more satisfied with the results.
John and his team at J Vincent Concrete were exceptional from start to finish. They were professional, highly responsive, and offered very competitive pricing. The scope of work included removing our hot tub, demolishing the old wooden framing, and rough-ins for stamped concrete. They then installed beautiful stamped concrete around our in-ground pool, the walkway to our home, and the hot tub area. The entire project was completed in just three days, with excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship throughout. The finished result exceeded our expectations.I would absolutely recommend J Vincent Concrete to anyone looking for quality concrete work and reliable service—and I will be recommending them to everyone I know
I can not possibly say enough great things about this business. John and his crew were exceptional. We faced numerous delays because of the weather (it rained constantly) but he kept us informed of schedule changes at all times. His crew were outstanding. They worked tirelessly in horrible heat and rain prepping for the pour but always cleaned up at the end of each day. We truly couldn't be happier. Trying to decorate the finished product but it won't stop raining ! I would recommend J Vincent to anyone that wants stamped concrete or regular concrete for that matter. I'll try to add more pics once I have it decorated. The pics I have included aren't after they graded and reseeded.
