I received a Safe Sidewalks notice in the mail and anxiety set in. By chance I read a review about Rose Concrete mentioning the same program. So I called and from start to finish I was very impressed. They took care of all the paperwork with the city and kept me posted on the progress. It may have been a small job but Ronnie and his crew were amazing.

Ronnie was great. I was looking to get a concrete patio, and he helped fix a drainage problem at the same time. You can tell he really knows his stuff. He provided multiple suggestions for options. He also happens to be super nice!

I hired Rose Concrete to fix my sidewalk after I got a notice from San Diego’s Safe Sidewalks program. The city requires a lot of paperwork for sidewalk repair, and I wanted to find a contractor who could handle that for me. After I requested a quote, Ronnie called me to explain the process of working with the city, and I was convinced that this would go smoothly. Rose Concrete handled all of the paperwork electronically, copying me on every email to the city. As soon as we had Notice to Proceed, the crew was onsite, and they got the work done in one day (plus a couple of days for the concrete to dry). The new sidewalk looks great, and it’s perfectly aligned with the surrounding sidewalk and parkway. My parkway is paved with bricks, and the crew did a great job of putting that back together. Most importantly, the city approved the completed project a few days later. I highly recommend Rose Concrete!

Replaced my asphalt driveway with new concrete. Rose Concrete did an excellent job. The price was substantially better than three other estimates that I got. The owner Ronnie spent a long time with us discussing options and understanding exactly what it was we were hoping to accomplish. The project was finished on time and the results were outstanding. It’s a large driveway and it was finished in a very even and flat manner, with all bumps and transitions from our previous driveway smoothed away and flattened. Daryl the project manager and Demi the concrete specialist showed great attention to detail and did everything to make sure that the project was completed to our specifications. we had them sock cut the joints between the 8 foot concrete sections rather than just using the trial and it really looks nice. Worth the extra money. They did an excellent cleanup hauling away all the old asphalt, and cleaned up everything after each day’s work. By the end of the job, all the materials had been hauled away and the front of my house looked exactly like it did before the job - except for getting rid of the ugly cracked asphalt and putting in a beautiful new safe concrete driveway!

Rose Concrete and Development did an amazing job on my project. The project included a concrete curb, a concrete planter box (along the brick wall), two concrete slabs and turf installation. Ronnie worked with us in the planning phase and added incredible insight and ideas to the design. He helped get our backyard project from a simple upgrade to a total transformation. His attention to detail, care for the client and his team's professionalism were appreciated. I would hire them again and highly recommend them.
