Wow!! Absolutely incredible job by Baca Concrete repairing our retaining wall. The team was professional, hardworking, and paid attention to every detail from start to finish. The wall looks amazing, feels extremely solid, and the entire area was left clean when the work was completed. They clearly take pride in the quality of their work. Highly recommend them to anyone needing cement or retaining wall repairs!
Gabriel was able to help me with my driveway and backyard patio project at an affordable price. He was also able to help place steel posts for a future gate installation, and he was able to always provide a helping hand for additional projects as they came up. Great attitude and would recommend for your concrete needs!
Be careful about this company. I hired this company last July 14, 2025 because the owner Gabriel Baca was very nice to me, and spoke Jesus a lot, and the reviews online were rated 5. They did a good job on the laying the concrete on my property. I paid a large sum for the work done on my property. On October 15, 2025. I received a notice from the concrete supplier Star Concrete that Baca Concrete still owed them $9k for the materials and then the supplier eventually put my property on lien with the City of Santa Clara controller's office. I confronted Baca Concrete several times and he said to me that he would take care of it. On October 21, 2025, Gabriel Baca and I went to the office of Star Concrete and I paid off the balance on his behalf so that the lien on my property would be released. Gabriel Baca said he would make good on his debt to me. As of this date, I only received 2 payments of $1,000 each back in January 2026 and still owes me $7,000. I filed a complaint with the Contractor's Licensing State Board (CSLB) and Baca Concrete was disciplined for commiting various violations. Baca Concrete had promised CSLB to pay me back in full by May 30, 2026.I am deeply disappointed with Gabriel Baca dba Baca Concrete. I had so much respect for this guy after knowing that he is a pastor of a church and that his employees are member of the church. I appreciated and liked Baca Concrete that I gave him an additional project to put up my fence in my backyard. This is how he returned my kindness towards him and his employees. As he said to me during our last conversation the end of February 2026, he would continue to pay me back in installments and the balance will be paid in full. I said to him that if I don't get paid in full by May 30, 2026. I will take Baca Concrete to court. I am following the advise of the Contracting Licensing State Board.I hope this review helps. I am writing this review to prevent others from becoming a victim like me.
Absolutely the best! From our first interaction and meeting to discuss the project through project execution Gabriel has been knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful to work with. I gave them a few challenges, black concrete with a honeycomb stamped finish they did not disappoint. We are at the final stretch of the project and it looks fantastic! Gabriel and his hard working crew: Rene, Francisco and Rigo worked long hours even in the rain and kept the job site clean. They also lent us some muscle when we needed it to remove the handrail. Below are a couple of pictures. If i can I’ll post another when fully complete. Baca Concrete would get 10 stars if it were an option! Grateful i chose them for our project.
Gabriel and his crew work very hard and fast to get your job done. Even though they work quickly, Gabriel makes sure that everything is being done correctly, and how the client envisions it. I had to make some adjustments due a driveway gate being installed after the work was completed, and Gabriel was quick to reset the string-lines and verify everything would work out. I would and have recommended Baca Concrete to friends and they have all come back to me happy! Thanks Gabriel + Crew!
